The general rule of thumb is that to make something cuter you make it smaller. Capybaras are an example of how you can take a cute small thing (guinea pig), make it bigger and still wind up with something cute as hell.

I wonder if you took one baby capybara and put it with a couple juvenile guinea pigs, they would just think the Capy is an adult and default to him being the leader of the group peacefully - imagine a capybara leading a herd of guinea pigs around in the wild, going on adventures…hilarious!

@@p1nkfreud I've seen some other videos of a capybara sitting in a pen with a bunch of guinea pigs. All the guinea pigs seem to have an attitude of "All Hail the King!"

Capybaras normally do swap their babies with other capybaras, so their instinct to let zoo keepers have their babies is similar to how they drop their pups with other capybara moms like a rodent kindergarten. Very chill species. They are fast learners too. Could potty train them like dogs, but they learn quicker, since it is about proper hygiene and keeping the territory clean to avoid predators from getting to close. Though they make terrible guard dogs... they make the best therapy pets due to their chill persona.

I recently learned that there were sabretooth deer as well as the tigers. Don’t know how big they were, but they hung out with the 3-toed ancestors of the horse.

he's so young he hasn't learned how to just vibe and veg out yet

My mom told me and my brother That our guinea pigs would get to that size if we over fed them
