You should shoot this guy WheelemVerb’s V70 - much smaller KZreadr but you’d like him I think.

Wow! This is the dream... having a client appreciate the art of photography instead of killing it with perfection or too many standardised requests. This is some fresh wind especially for automotive photography! I love the results! Can't wait for the Porsche vid. 📸❤🔥

Very grateful to work with Cassidy who was incredibly open minded about the approach to the images, but had a clear direction at the same time. I think if they wanted traditional car photography, they wouldn’t have hired a kid who shoots landscapes 99% of the time. It was a great time.
I love how you can appreciate the imperfect, which for me is the wonder of analog photography. In addition to being able to have a client who knows how to use those imperfections as part of the poetry of photography. Great job! Congratulations. I wrote you on IG!!

I agree. Very lucky that road & track is so open to working with people beyond the traditional realm of automotive photography. I believe most of the photographers in the issue are more landscape and editorial based in their practice and it’s cool to see a magazine moving away from the traditional commercial style.
The fact that you are not used to shooting cars makes your photos more interesting. Your perspective in different.
these pics were actually insane holy crap
Having shot more than enough cars in my career, I think you've got some really great images (and on film as well!) Even got the 'Car Photographers Hand Gestures' down :)

I love the cold withe balance with the orange car, very clever choice
So happy to see you getting these big time gigs lately man, you’ve been my biggest inspiration in shooting film and capturing memories with photos in general. Cant wait to see where it all takes you and the legacy you leave
Photos came out amazing! It's so cool to see you step out of your comfort zone and retain your unique style. I could have told you from a mile away those were Willem pics. Nice work!

Yes! This makes me think how when I found your channel it was the start of the Covid lock-downs and we were all house-bound. I was worried about how you and others like you would even survive economically. But now, you're getting the most amazing work! So happy for your success. I still look forward to all of these KZread productions just as much as I enjoyed them back then. Now, off the the magazine shop to grab a copy of R&T in print! ✌
Just wow. 👏🏼
I see that even the best ones sometimes receive hate comments, what awaits me hahaha, incredible photos! You have motivated me to try car photography with my canon a1, incredible photos!!
I love that you break down your work with also bts shots and go step by step through the shoot!
Hugeeee inspiration
I absolutely love these videos showing your professional work. Thank you.
The cafe portrait was perfection. Not just a great shot, but it exemplifies the stereotypical corvette loving american feel, perfect for the context.
thank you so much for sharing your pre-production process. its so helpful x
Wow great that’s an awesome opportunity! Great job 👏🏽
Excellent job! The shots are beautiful.
this video was great. Car photography isn't your main thing but I would definitely pay you any amount to shoot my car🙌🏽. I can't explain the good vibes this video gave me.
Beautifully done, great images👌
Beautiful
Unreal! I just got the issue the other day. Very much looking forward to digging into it and seeing your photos!
You are excellent. I hope great things keep coming your way!
Love this!
Pics came out amazing !
Amazing analog car photography, I am very much looking forward to the Porsche photo story as well.
Love you william, can’t wait for more videos

You are a true inspiration to my photography and automotive passion. Two things I have always struggled to bring together as I lean towards photography of natural subjects. You have challenged me to expand my photography and integrate my passion for cars. Lots of love from down under 🇦🇺📸 11:00
I love the photos, Willem. As someone who has flipped through so many car magazines over the years, it’s so great to see an institution like Road & Track request images that aren’t the typical photos we see in every car spread. There are definitely some incredibly talented car photographers out there, but it’s so nice to see your simple, stripped down, intimate shoot between you, the car, the driver and the road. And orange was a great color for this!
This was so cool. What a neat experience and a great video. I also love that shot of the Z06 vs the mountains. Wow.
combining my fave things in 1!! love it
It's refreshing seeing commercial car photography being shot on film, instead of being a super sharp digital photo. This may open up more opportunities for automotive film photography. Great video, thank you!
You’re a huge inspiration for me Willem! Congrats on putting yourself out there and getting these amazing opportunities man.
Every time Willem posts a video working with another big magazine or commission it makes me incredibly happy. Being an excellent photographer is one thing, but being a unique photographer who really produces work that stands apart from contemporaries in photography is rare and incredible to watch the process. I could have spotted your style a mile away and the end images are just jaw-dropping, I often pause the video to just stare at some of these pictures for a while.
Great stuff! Such a broad range of landscapes you covered as well!
The film shots gives it some of that glamorous 70's magazine look. Very nice👍
I’m stoked for the Porsche video! Dope shots of the ZO6 dude!
Porsche + Willem. Yasss can’t wait ❤
Awesome shoot, results came out amazing! Looking forward to the Porsche vid :)
Love the video, thanks for another banger!
Thank you for this. I've been in a bit of a rut personally when it comes to my own photography and it was inspiring to see. You've given me a lot to think about.
Really liked this video, your style of shooting cars is refreshing
can't wait to see the Porsche video.
the shot at 4:21 is everything /// edit - ok i said that before i saw the shot at 6:20 ... THAT shot is everything
Oooo it was great photoshoot, amazing car and perfect photos as usually.🎉
So cool! Love to see your focus shifting ;) to different subjects and challenges in the last couple videos. Great stuff as always!
I'd love to see more car photography content! I'm a 17 year old who has for lots of strange and wonderful reasons, somehow gotten my hands on now 9 cameras in the last half year. I absolutely love film and cars even moreso, you've taught me so much and I'd love to expand my knowledge by learning about this niche side of photography from someone I've learnt so much from already!
Beautiful shots, I shoot a lot of cars myself. Mostly trackside with the cars in motion, couldn't imagine doing that on film, I would go through bucketloads of rolls hahahaha.
Thats sick. I Hope you get to do a lot more stuff like this
loved to see this process - so cool to see you combine your two worlds of interest :) stoked for the Porsche content release!
So good mate. Nailed it!
Great collection of images, Willem.
This is the one I’ve been waiting for
Bravo. I love the pace of the video, the content and the story. Subscribed.
Great Video as always. So excited for the New Porsche video😊
congrats dude, you're getting some great gigs these days, nice to have watched your career grow and blossom. keep it up
Good on you Willem you would have loved this
Automotive film photography has been pretty niche from what i can tell, love to see that its getting some recognition, especially from someone as prominent in the community as you!!
Great video young man and pleased to see a young photographer using film, well done Willem.
Looks like you started in Julian. I've driven those roads to Borrego Springs many times. Loved this.
Dude, this is my dream career Willem! Amazing work, and fantastic results. Can't wait for the Porsche video, huge 911 fan; the 996 is my favorite gen.
How is this man so chill! Love the vibe :)
babe wake up willem just posted. THANK YOU❤❤❤
Super forward thinking client. The results are so much more than the average car shoot.
Perfect time in 2 weeks in my city (Brescia 🇮🇹) there will be the extremely famous “1000 Miglia” We’ll wait for u Willem ❤
Best photography content on youtube, what an amazing video. Looking forward to the Porsche video, sounds insane.
bro that's great!
Super nice images!
Heel mooie film Willem 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You killing it😭🤯
Great project W!
Absolutely loved this project killed this dude
this is legendary
Awesome photo👌
Such an awesome opportunity! Looking forward to more car content! I'd love to see you do period correct VW Beetle 60s/70s photos. I feel it would fit the film vibe so well in California
dude, i'm stoked for the Porsche video !
Great results! I am not a fan of car photography. But I love the images you got. Looking forward now to the photos from Porsche. Hope you enjoyed Germany. Greetings from Berlin.
I just shot a lowrider show on film for the first time, this video is perfect timing
omg i had no idea you were here in stuttgart! i literally pass by the museum on my way to work hahah, you are such an inspiration to me when it comes to photography, i would have loved to at least invite you to spend some time in the nature climbing park i work at
great stuff…. love how its more editorial than “portraits of the car”
Nice job with the motion blur! Speaking of car stuff, you might like the British Invasion car show if you've heard of it. Think it's in September in Vermont.
that profile at 3:39 is insane
It's really insane how well priced this car is for the performance.
definitely going to barnes and noble later today for the zine
man, this was fucking dope

Amazing pictures and dream job to work on! Motions gives so much energy to those shots - like unleashed power of Z06. Btw - have You changed Your car to RX? :D
This looks like Little Tujunga!
Check out Tim Wallace’s work in the Uk for some more interesting car angles. I like the pics. Makes me want to het the magazine!

Video ook trouwens. Wow!
It would have been great to take the interior shots with the Mamiya 7 43mm lens - it would get everything into the picture with everything in focus!
I can't even imagine trying to track anything with such a massive camera. It's hard to get those rolling shutter tracking shots. I'm betting you went through a roll or two just trying it.
I went to a car show last month and tried to shoot cars on film. I found that shooting a crowd with the cars made it more difficult cause i legit have better results guess focusing on moving cars while im on the road
