Thanks David, I use the Skin tool a lot for portraits, I do exactly what you do up to clearing the full mask, I then use the magic brush on the face, two to three quick licks tends to do it and it usually misses the lips to with that method! Skin Tool, Magic brush and style brushes, absolute game changers for portraits!

How do you smooth skin in capture one? Any tools like frequency separation?

Question: if you have 2 ppl with very different skin tones, can you set two separate skin tone targets in one layer (like in the advance color editor), or do you need to do this for each person in a separate layer?

Two separate layers would be the way to go.

please explain where you downloaded the built in style brushes or where they are found? on the Mac system if they are part of the initial download

Hi Nancy, The Style Brushes were introduced in Capture One 21 (14.1.0), and they are a part of the initial download. If you are using the redesigned Tool Panel (it was redesigned in 15.3.0), you can find them under Adjust > Style Brushes.
