If this is a reboot of an alternative timeline, I'm wondering if Sandman, Ghost, Roach, and Soap won't die this time (whilst Shepard does) to please the fans. Granted, I feel the original story line was so good because they did die and shows that there were real stakes and costs to fighting i.e. favorite characters dying and sacrificing themselves (or not) and that betrayals happen. If they do live, the reboot story has to be good enough to live up to the tragedies of the original story and the costs of war are still depicted. A game where all your friends live and win all the time might be fun for some people, and it'll be awesome that they do live and not get left behind or betrayed, but it may not be realistic in a story about clandestine hyper lethal warfare and the happy happy would take away from the grittiness and intensity of CoD. I do know that there are somethings in the original storyline that would not fly today (casual terrorism killing civilians i.e. No Russian, MW3 gas attack) so I get that some changes in the reboot can't be helped.

I LOVE that detail. Even between different continuities their brotherhood is developed.

I hate that this Price sounds more fond of Ghost than Soap. Ghost barely even knew Price in MW2 and they only worked together for 1 mission. I get that it's a soft reboot but a huge part of what made the OG Modern Warfare trilogy great for me is the Price-Soap tandem and I was hoping to see that here, too. But I guess Ghost is a cash cow for the devs since he's more popular with the younger generation now especially with him being the face of CoDM. I really want to love this reboot but I guess I'll stick to the OG MW trilogy.

Price had other files which means there are other members who weren’t introduced in MWII but still exist. Hopefully in MW3 we actually see these other members (Roach, Walcroft…). Might as well tag along the SAS guys to join 141. Maybe we can see a little recruitment mission or phase at the start of MW3.

The snap at "that's classified" is just such good acting. there are some things even being the ruler of the world doesn't entitle you to.

First time before when he lost his hat is when he bailed out of a mayday helicopter in one point of the mission :(

"He goes by soap" "Why?" " kept dropping it"

When I first heard they were remaking this I was so against it, I thought "Blasphamy" but then I bought it and played it. They did it right,.. "What the hell kind of name is Soap, anyway." "how'd a muppet like you pass selection?" then this end scene came and "till I collapse" started blaring in my head. And yes, My fruit killing skills, are Remarkable.
