This campaign was fucking fantastic. Just beat it on Veteran. Wayy better than mw19. The story is coming together now. The way they portrayed Sheperds betrayal was very realistic and plausible. The Shadow Company twist was done nicely too, you honestly starting believing that they're just the good guys in this universe, until they're not.

Like how they paid homage to CoD Ghosts with this. It seems like IW completely forgot that game existed ever since that game came out and received criticism. Good to know they still acknowledge it.

Voice acting in this game is beyond incredible they did everything right imo

Glen Morshower voiced Overlord in the original Modern Warfare 2 while Lance Henrickson voiced Shepherd. Now Glen Morshower voices Shepherd and they are using Morshower’s motion capture likeness.

Shepherd redesign is a good example of "Don't fix something thats not broken"

In the first MW2 Ghost was invisible to me, okay his look was cool but.. meh. But this time he is a true character with a lot of details wich learn us a lot about him. The fact that Ghost disapears like three or four times during the story makes me believe that a DLC like Separate Ways from RE4 could happened.

I really like the subtle name color change.

How i compare this MW reboot series to the original is the original is like if Michael Bay directed it, being big, bombastic and huge and the reboot would be Paul Greengrass would direct it being slow and full of tension and realistic.

Think thats the point, theyre going for the more behind the scenes tactician sorta guy, who abuses his manipulation abilities to turn the battle into his favour. Ofc he could always do a 180 and turn into fucking John Wick, but my impression is hes more like an Odin type figure and works behind the scenes while using people like Shadow Comp to do the physical fighting.

I refuse to believe that ghost is alex, i dont want alex to be ghost but hair color even hair style is like alex’s and even more interesting is that throughout mw 2019 campaign alexs name during dialogue was displayed with quotation marks (‘alex’) telling us that it was just an alias, but their eye color and voice sound are completely different sure someone could fake an accent but having to fake an entire pitch of voice and accent would be tiring

thats probably a scar not black face smh. my headcanon is that ghost is alex from MW 2019 and the black is the burns so he wears a mask to hide the burns and injuries then we have his voice his voice box was damaged so his voice is deep
