One of my favorite parts is when Will Ferrell comes in demanding his gun back in Gator mode while Keaton is on the phone and Keaton just looks around nonchalantly for it and gives it back like it was nothing. He doesn't say a word and it was one of the funniest parts. Such a great actor.

Always loved Michael Keaton. He was easily one of the best parts of this movie, which overall tends to be highly underrated. Even after his oscar snub, I hope he has somewhat of a resurgence. For both comedy and drama. However, I understand that before, much of him not having many roles is that he just wasn't interested rather than him not getting any offers.

I find Michael Kenton amazing how as an actor who done so many roles can come to this movie drop TLC lines so confidently

The scene of him playing with his gun and accidentally dropping it always kills me. The look he makes when he does it is so great.

Keaton puts on a comedy acting clinic in this movie. So underrated.

Totally they missed an opportunity when Holt left to bring captain gene as the new captain permanently. That would have been perfect Peralta and captain Gene that show would take off!

Captain Gene is one of the best characters in a comedy from around that era. Hate how this movie doesn’t get the props it deserves

The line delivery is just on point! One of my favorites.

I was the only one in the theatre who burst out laughing at that scene where he’s scratching his ear with the gun and then the phone rings and he drops it. I swear only Keaton could pull that off so funny and natural.

The dude nailed EVERY scene he was in.

This movie was so well written. A classic that will be long remembered.

But as fucking Captain Gene, it's a crying fucking shame he doesn't win best actor in the globes and the academy awards, every year, until the end of time, for this movie! He should get lifetime achievement awards every year too!
