why didn't you mix the jb weld on the brace instead ? would have been a bit less messy.

You should do screen accurate straps!. 😊 not just the plain old belt loops..look at a Marvel Legends and Efx Shield. 😉

Hey, so I'm about to make my own version of this tutorial with an aluminum shield, just like yours, and I've never done painting before. After you add the primer, and you start painting, when you're doing the red stripes for example, do you wait any amount of time after each layer? Like if you add one layer of red paint, do you let it sit for a bit, and then come back and add another and then do that the entire time? If so how long do you wait? Please get back as soon as you can! Thanks!!

If you want to clear coat it you should sand it first with some high grit paper
