White... I use nippon 2k paint (for car) For top coat, I recommend anything as long as it is lacquer type.

I tried a red candy tone and used gaia EX Gloss black, Starbright silver and Clear red, but it ended up becoming really dark and the texture was very sandy (when I touched it I can feel the rough surface and some of it even comes off). I used about 17 psi. Seems like the starbright silver is really hard to spray on.. it always gets really dark and sandy. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Maybe your paint is to thick... Maybe... You need to try some variation on paint thickness and pressure

@@AlisKingdom I lowered to 15 psi, thinned more and sprayed closer. It came out much better! How much psi do you use for the gaia starbright silver?

I have a question about panel lining When do I panel is it after everything is dry or do I do it in-between one of these steps? If none are needed do I leave it as is because I can't do lining because of the paint job?

You can do panel line of course. For glossy finish you can do after last stage (top coat) For satin finish, gloss coat first, add lining, then satin coat. The point is, do panel line only when your part already has gloss surface.

@@AlisKingdom i got several i can list. Still fresh to the painting game. 1. About anything important about the chemical properties of the hobby stuff because this leads into my next question. 2. What paints are appropriate for plastic painting and in terms of gloss and coating and such. Which are not okay to use. I used a top coat and it made the paint I used run. I don't know if I did this wrong or to soon or if I got some kind of chemical mixed up that I should not have.

can you mix clear colors to get a desired color or will that mess things up?

Nope its different. Matt coat will make it less shiny than real satin or satin like in my video

There is a flat and extra flat like gloss and extra gloss, In brand named radiate studio.flat is less Matt,extra flat is Matt.

except the candy colors, maybe about 5minutes. for candy color and top coat, you need to wait longer around 15-30 minutes
