This is not fair. Today, I am 74 years old. I was drafted and serve to fight in Vietnam. When I came back to US in 1971, I was afraid to wear my uniform. To tell you the truth. I am a bit of angry when I see all those welcome home to the volunteer servicemen compared to my days in Vietnam, we were dying and injured for no reason. 😂

I hear you, I’m 73, I didn’t go to Vietnam , but 3 years in Germany, I got the same greetings or lack of. I guess Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden took care of that. Yeah, I’m bitter.
