I have never once used cap collector because I heard caps stashes were being exploited when the game first came out, and people were saying cap collector didn't work at all anymore. At almost level 800, caps are not an issue for me anymore, but I do have a rank 3 card so I will go on a spending spree and test your method. It’s easier to farm Berry mentats, get like 1200 in 3 hours and sell them 40/50c per and you’ll have your max caps for 3 hours work

I do that too but it's more of a passive way to make caps. I've gone 2 and 3 days without selling anything. This seems like it would be handy during Treasure Hunter events when you need caps to buy the mole miner pails but everyone is buying them so nothing sells.

Water is so much easier to farm. Lol. 280 purified waters at 5 caps gets that 1,400 and is easily done in under a hour.

why are you selling them at half price? they are 85-100 caps each on the marketplace and you don't have much to work with because btats have been the focus of dupes. you'll get more caps off selling off-rolls in your vendor plus the chance of a groll which would sell for hundreds of thousands of caps or more if you choose the right things to roll.

I followed your method and without much fuss collected caps and got stuff from enemies for a total of almost 1600 caps. T'was a good run with only a few cap stashes found to be empty. I'm one of those players who never leaves a tube of toothpaste behind. I have ten children (read characters) that I have to support! lol

I found this a great way to help get the mutation recipes and maybe on rare occasion some plan I find at player vendor.

There is a cap stash in the upper level of the Morgan Town highschool behind the red locked door on the right when you jump up.

Also Perk Cards that increases Caps found in any place you can loot items from.

Just did this run and found maybe 6 stashes out of all of these 😫 definitely going to give it another try tho, I'd love to have enough caps to buy weekly gold bullion. I usually just cap the daily trade via purified water or excess chems.

Add one additional location for Caps is north/northeast of the Overseer's Camp, near a tree with three hanging Radstags, near a sleepbag and next to a table on its side.

Very nice route, other thing is that caps are for the most part quite useless to veterans but at least newbies will have easier time to fill a pool with caps XD

you missed a cap stash at white springs it is at the guard shack below the white springs lookout tower plus there is some loose caps with it

For resetting go to the place that has the skeletons in the NE part of the map

The only thing left for me to dump Caps on is pails/gifts, i always have my alt ready with 5x40k, but most of my caps on my main lands on magazines and bubbleheads

This jsut saved my ass, someone was selling an event plan I really wanted (sacred mothman tome) that I didn't manage to get during the event for a reasonable price but I was like 200 caps short and my vendor was already cleaned out but I could get it now because of this

As a veteran player now, I often hit the max 40,000 caps limit every week. Nothing I really want to buy now, so just spend 6000 caps with Sam in exchange for gold bullions.

Instead of fast traveling to Poseidon fast travel to the nuka cola plant right next to Poseidon, there's usually 3 of them there

What do i need caps for... I'm getting close to level 400, and i still find plans i don't have. So yeah. There go my caps. I spread them amongst other players. ;) Also, there is one cap stash in Nuka World in one of the shop containers next to the "Spin the Wheel" tent.

I spend way more time trying to find ways to spend my caps than I do caring about earning them. that "f**k cap limited again!!" feeling is real. and I only started playing this game in April, I have every purchaseable recipe/plan including all the serums from modus. money has no value in this game.

Well this is heavy-duty useful when mole miner pails and holiday gifts are being sold by NPC vendors and your running out of caps and stuff to sell I mean the script that come out those are well worth its weight in caps spent.

No matter how many times I server swap, join on a friend, wait 5 minutes before rejoining, the caps stashes are never refilled. Did they patch the way these respawn?

pick the books and server hop, if you end up always on the same server join someone from your friend list that's on different server

If I need to spend a bunch of caps fast I just re-buy a serum recipe that I put in my vendor for about 5000 caps. It goes quickly! Sadly I cannot use the audio cue perk cards to help me find bobbleheads/magazine, as I am a deaf player. Beth really needs to add visual/text cues to these cards! Tip: Mirelurks often have caps in their loot, as do Super Mutants and the Grafton Monster.

How do I kneel on PC, so I can look under stuff??

if you want to earn caps, test your metal, can earn you 1300 caps for just one event.

I pretty much play full health so a lot of my weapons are aristocrats so really I only have 10k to play around with. When I hit Max I vender hop and buy plans and mod weapons serums.

Just wanted to shed light the one girl kid ally has a chance to give you a buff for better cap stashes

ok, that's valid, you find an item for sale with the stats you want, then hell yes, you buy that. None of the vendors I visit are selling any intersting weapons, and I put that down to the fact that nobody needs the money. I have an alt with 20+ blueflame flamers, easily woth 5k each. but I do not list them for sale as money is worthless. evem my level 2 mule alt has 40,000 caps.

I will add on here that when it comes to end game weapons/armor then the items you produce can not be sold. the plans are purchased by gold/stamps/rep etc so they are not tradeable, even to people who also own the same plans. if I get really lucky and made more that 1 plasma caster with nice stats, I cannot sell the second one, it's basically just dead weight.

i mean the guy is literally showing you a 10 minute route to farm around 1600 caps per day. Add in the 1400 a day that vendors have to buy stuff from you, and just those add 3000 caps/day, not to mention the random 25s you get just from being on a team with someone who finshes one of their dailies. Do a few events yourself, or go crazy and run a daily op of expedition or two, and you're easily up over 4000. this doesn't even get into chems and alcohol etc you can farm materials for, and craft a good amount for your vendor. Another 1000+ Just this stuff will max you out in a week, and there are tons of other things u can sell, as lots of us are always looking to get off max by buying from our teammates or other players vendors. dont despair. btw if the original guy hasnt figured it out in 8 months, he either quit or is hopeless (sorry). to the person who replied 4 days ago... if youre on ps4/ps5 add me (bonkybear) on PSN and i will give you some caps to hang on to.

Newer player need caps to buy fixer plans from player vender

Goat legs? Anyone not using PA should get 2 armors with the 3rd star "-50% fall damage". They stack to -100% and you will never take damage from falling regardless of how high you are. It makes the game far better than a full weapon weight reduction or whatever set. Never die because that camp on the top of the electric tower suddenly disappears or oops ran off a cliff coyote style, never having to find a safe way down ever again... it's just so much better. Good thing to spend caps on at player vendors if you don't have them too.

you can't have 15 in all, but you can go much higher with boosts and bonuses but it will not count towards perks

You start with 7 points, each SPECIAL has 1 point. You get another 49 on the way to level 50, and then you stop getting SPECIAL points. You can then get level up legendary SPECIAL cards, legendary strength, legendary perception, etc. The maximum SPECIAL points you can have is 86 (56 natural + 30 legendary). You’d need 105 to have 15 points in all 7.

I charge 1k for a Foundation's Vengeance and 700 caps for a Love Tap, for reference. Generally, I sell at reasonable to low prices, so I tend to generate a high turnover. And it makes me happy if my affordable and useful (aristocrat's, unyielding, bloodied, recently also troubleshooter's etc.) weapons and armor pieces complement someone's build. @@victorsoto4821

It's worth buying the Fixer plan. Apart from crafting the rifle for yourself, you can help low-level players out by crafting low-level Fixers for them. @@bjarnis

burning 1500 holy fire ammo in one event is one way to spend caps at that one overpriced players shop somewhere over there

The jumps on FO76 look like space jumps HaHa

Jetpacks (and possibly mutations) cost caps themselves, making this feel like a "need money to get money video." You said possible without: videoplay without would've been more helpful.

I get lucky from time to time at player vendors. Some players have extremely generous prices just to share good stuff for the satisfaction of making a sale. I’ve found some great plans at one vendor for 25c and at another they’re 500c
