The Cableway has provided more than 23-million visitors with an unforgettable experience, taking them to the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town.The lower cable station is at an elevation of 302 metres (991 ft) on Tafelberg Road near Kloof Nek.
The upper cable station in on the westernmost end of the Table Mountain plateau, at an elevation of 1,067 metres (3,501 ft). The upper cable station offers views over Cape Town, Table Bay and Robben Island to the north, and the Atlantic seaboard to the west and south.

Absolutely beautiful at the top views are brilliant I found Cape point just as good Cape town is Safe to visit I spent 10 days there as a lone traveler I. had no problems with anyone must visit again

Thanks for this video, I went when there was lots of clouds and didn't really get a very good idea of the view.

You picked a good day to go up top. I went in early 2013 and the cable car was closed due to high winds. I made it via the trail in about 90 minutes. Still got good views, but had to wait for a break in the clouds!
