Leaving your house in Fort Myers, cross the Edison Bridge to North Fort Myers. Head west to Cape Coral and take Del Prado Blvd south to beautiful downtown Cape Coral. Take the scenic route through SE 47th Terrace and Cape Coral Pkwy. Continue south and park in front of The Boathouse Tiki Bar, a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
After closing due to damage from Hurricane Ian (September 2022), The Boathouse Tiki Bar has rebuilt and is open once again!

the cape definitely took a hit, but has managed to bounce back. the boathouse reopened over the summer.
Not sure where in Fort Myers you live, but isn’t there an easier route?

Yes, you're correct, there is a quicker route (drive southwest on McGregor and cross Cape Coral Bridge). We decided to take the scenic route to show Edison Bridge and include more of the northern area of Cape Coral. Thanks for watching!
