Capacitance calculation , part 1: capacitance between two conductors ( analytical and using COMSOL )

Eventually I decided to make a video series about capacitance calculation. I plan to make this series the most comprehensive online video collection about capacitance and capacitors. First we go ahead with capacitance calculation and later I will expand the video series to topics of capacitors, their construction and complexities associated.
In this first video I explain the basic definition and how to calculate capacitance between two conductors analytically and using FEM simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics. The example that I have used here to explain the basics is the most simple one i.e. a parallel plates capacitor.
Calculation of matrix of capacitance for multi conductors scenario will be covered in the next video and thereafter I will talk about self-capacitance of a coil. Meanwhile I may cover capacitance calculation for more complicated simple systems, for example capacitance between two spheres, etc.
By the way did you know that you can cite a KZread video in your thesis or publication ? so in case the material of this video is useful for your work consider citing the video 😎.
A while back I decided to choose some random KZreadrs and try to gain more subscribers than them. Today i have passed the third channel.
1- Carving Foam: when first passed him he had 269 subscribers, current subscribers 365
2- Player cc: when first passed him he had 521 subscribers, current subscribers 547
3- Aleksandar Haber: just passed him, current subscribers 1690
Now the next channel will be "NOC16 March - May EC07". Currently he has 3.62K subscribers, so let see if/when I can take him over.

To prezenter: Smole mistake : E=dV/dx=V/d not E=(V/d)*a

Thanks for the comment, that a is actually ax which is the unit vector in the x direction. that shows the direction of E
