A very objective perspective and highlighted differences in details

Four things that you missed are 1) I have been corrected that at 4:35 He did mention about the Canon R50 can only record video for an hour while the Sony ZV-E10 is unlimited. 2) R50 will overheat faster than the ZV-E10 but when in the Sony Menu setting the Briefcase Tab to (Auto Power OFF Temp). too High for better results. I know you haven't tested these cameras and I have. 3) I loved the R50 but even with the viewfinder I kept pressing the wrong buttons. The camera is tiny in my hands. ZV-E10 gives me problems too with the buttons, Focus/Defocus, Record and the one button for the three different modes which I hit too many times to think of. Especially when you believe you are in one mode, and you are in the other. 4)I have been corrected again that at 8:03 he did mention about the R50 LCD screen is way better than the Sony in Clarity/Sharpness and I can see because it's brighter in the daylight. My opinion 10 bit is better than 8 bit, but I can adjust the R50 Colors in another program to give me that look close to a LUT. I believe Canon has finally letting third party lenses come to the rescue (Sigma). Good Video. Cheers!

Thanks for watching! Let me tackle some of those points. 1) I said that very thing at 8:03 2) I didn't mention the overheating part, very true, so it's good to have that here. 2b) I've tested both of the cameras, but not in a consistent, controlled environment. 3) Don't really know what I missed on this one? That they're small? Which is true but peoples mileage may vary. 4) I addressed the display differences at 4:35 In terms of Canon opening the mount for third parties, it's still heavily rumored and not confirmed, but even if they do allow Sigma to make a lens or two, they're still most likely going to heavily control what is allowed to come on.

@@villerasku Yes Canon is still controlling the Third Party Lens from entering the RF mount but they are still Number 1 in sales worldwide. I like their R6II (I own 2) and the R8 & R10. I have Sony cameras APSC & Full Frame but I love Nikon the most. Cheers!

Broo i have the r50, and it have many modes for beginner with (ai) and i can control iso, shutter speed, etc... with the touch screen i dont need the wheels. Only thing is bad on the canon is the lens its too expensive

Hi your content is really appreciatable I'm mobile phrographer now i want to be do vlogs and that vlogs actually a short films or some type of cinematography shots to practice my film making experience i don't have high budget to buy full frame camera so what camera you recommend for me ?

The deal breaker for me is the big number of lenses that sony has

No viewfinder on the Sony was a deal breaker for me. Got an R50!

View finder sucks on the canon r50 . And lenses are limited . Sony more well rounded in many ways

do you know cameras i own the r50 and the r50 screen and viewfinder is higher quality than the sony. @@Thefitbarber_

Hi! Good comparision. I think for ex-smartphone shooter "no viewfinder" - is not a problem at all. The most annoying problems are no touchscreen menu navigation and low-res screen. The last problem is a pain of all sony cameras, even expensive ones. But you can live with it. So Sony is a best choice imho.

I actually still confused the audio is a big deal for me but I also want viewfinder, I want the camera for filmmaking also photography and it will become my first camera so I don’t know what exactly will suit me, if anyone have any advice I’m all for it 🙏🏻

Hi, I chose to buy the R50 as I have no interest in vlogging or video ( apart from taking a few videos of my dogs occasionally) I wanted a camera that was good for me as a new photographer and I think it's ideal for that. Great video though.

If it's only for streaming/video, I would still definitely recommend the ZV-E10. If not for anything else, the lens selection is much better.
