We set out for some canoe fishing at Crane Prairie reservoir just south of Bend Oregon. This lake is prime in the spring and then becomes a bit overgrown with algae and invasive species in the summer. It was nice to see the reservoir so full and we thought for sure we would catch a fish. No fish but we did catch a great time. We are using the Bell Canoe Works Angler Canoe which is a 14’ x 38” wide Royalex model they made with really comfortable swivel seats.
