+Nekonyancer Those could be expensive in ear monitors. It's hard to tell. I used Shure earbuds for this type of stuff and they sound better than most over the ear monitors.

Gordon Goodwin writes his ass off! He has a knack for putting together unbelievable groups of players and then he writes arrangements of tunes with so much technical challenge, personality and identifiable character, yet his players make it seem so easy! In this piece he takes a five sax arrangement and covers the ground of saxes, and brass, wow! Smashing. His work never lets the listener down.

You sure it's not a Jody jazz? Kinda looks like the shape of one but then again the large chamber bergs (which this would definitely have to be) would probably be shaped the same--a little fatter around the middle

He uses a custom Ernie Northway mouthpiece, no longer sold. The closest thing that they still sell would probably be an Aaron Drake mouthpiece. However, if you could manage to get a modified Meyer or Vandoren V16 with a smaller tip opening and a larger baffle, that would also work. Source: emailed him.
