Canis canem edit: Unused button mashing difficulties

I mentioned this in the video but I will do it again here: I did this on the PS2 version because the mashing part of the grapple sequence looks smooth. Try it on the PC or 360 versions, it looks like Jimmy and the guy grappling skip frames for each tap you make so it takes less effort to escape.
None of the weapon stealing difficulties are unused but since they are not common knowledge I included them in the video anyways.
I assume at some point the game allowed more than 300 punishment points because there is no other explanation. Jimmy needing over 500 punishment points to get the hard civilian struggle says it all.

Just love how Prefects simply grapple Jimmy by the head while Civvies just up and slam him to the ground lol

I find it a nice detail. It's like the prefects were trained to not injure the kids while the adults simply don't give a shit because they're too angry.

i know old video, but is it possible that in the beta you had different rule violations that could score you 500 points? Like bullying, fighting, etc.?

u can exploit dodgeball by jumping then throwing but stay as close as possible
Was police always the same as authorities ? I find it weird that its easier to escape them than civilians

Originally every authority figure had their own fighting style. In the final game prefects, male teachers and cops use the same fighting style so they are all equally difficult to escape from.

If i'm not mistaken, some of the cops' original moves can still be seen in some NPC interactions in the mission ''The Rumble''

@@MrSomebodyyyy The frisk action that you are talking about is only used in that mission, I doubt it was an actual busting move. On the other hand their unused pindown animation was probably their original busting move.
I wonder if this struggle mechanic wasn’t capped at your fps. I mean if you set PS2 version to work at 60 fps, it would be impossible to escape even from that “easy” authority difficulty, not even talking about civilians
