My first shots with the new Canik TP9 Elite SC with the brand new Shield Sights SMS2 red dot sight. This is the brand new Shield Sights SMS2 that, I believe, is only available on the Canik TP9 Elite SC right now.
These are LITERALLY my first shots with this gun and this sight.

That sure is a sharp-looking pistol
I have this one and the regular TP9 Elite with a Vortex Red Dot. I love the Canik pistols. They are very underrated.
Well, it looks like a good fit & you seemed to be doing just fine putting lead down range at the "alternative range location". What is your opinion of the set-up after the first shots?

I have very little time behind a pistol red dot. It wasn't bad with just the one hand but I'm going to get it back out to the range. This one is a small dot only where my Holosun is a circle dot.

@@OBNXS1 Yeah, I really like the option of a circle, dot, or both with the Holosun. Please keep us posted how this one works out for you. Options are always good.

What adapter plate are you running? I have a tp9 elite combat

IIRC you’ll need #4 to run a small dot on the larger pistols. This is the plastic plate that came with the SC.
I'd buy one of these but I cant find a holster with a claw like Vedders or Tier1. What do you use to carry it?

They ship with a holster in the box. It's not great but it's not terrible either. I've heard from a friend that Smokey Mountain Concealment does really good Canik holsters, but I don't have one.

I believe it does but I don't have one to test it. I THINK all the micro red dots share the same footprint unlike the regular size dots.
