Even though I'm not a Canelo fan, I do respect the fact that since the ending of that fight he has made it very simple and just said I lost the fight no excuses and doesn't talk about it no matter how much the media tries to bait him into making all kinds of excuses. I wish the rest of the fighters would use that same approach

@@adriantorrez9006 You are correct. I did see that. Because there was questions asked if it was a vegan diet or something else. He just said he wasn't 100%. But truthfully most of those guys are not 100% walking into fight night. But it's still alot more respectable to just say that he lost versus some of the others excuses of Spiked water bottles, rascist referee's, broken hands, and not being able to breathe, or a costume weighed too much during a ring walk.

The fact GGGs power at 160 is considered “the same” as Bivols power at 175 is kinda crazy. Bivol isn’t known to be a huge puncher but definitely has good enough power, and it has to effect a naturally smaller guy even more. And yet GGG at 160 hit pretty much just as hard is impressive. Speaking from the point of view of a nutrition scientist. Canelo comments on watching video of his loss- "I just get tired"... "I try to do something my body doesn't respond". This guy switched his diet not realizing the biggest weakness in vegetarian diets is lack of creatine. Creatine is found in abundance in meat. Creatine is what the body uses to make ATP. ATP is the energy currency of the body. This means Canelo lost some explosiveness and some power as well as some stamina even mental acuity may have diminished. As I said ATP (which the body uses creatine to produce) is the energy currency of the body. Your body uses it for everything5. It's like money for the body (thus the currency analogy). No meat = less creatine =less overall ATP for the body. I'm a certified nutritionist and this is one of the main issues i see clients who are vegetarians or vegans face. The fix is so easy I hope his nutritionist if he has one fixes it.

It is entirely plausible to think this may have had some play into his performance.

And from looking at Anne’s training camps, I can imagine that SOME of her methods are good for the short run, but have consequences over the long haul of the career. To my knowledge, she didn’t have any contenders or champions outside of Kirkland.

Beterbiev is certain doom for Canelo IMO... and the only person I see capable of really beating up Saul. A bigger but slower and weaker opponent.

I have a question regarding interviewers. Since I can remember, whenever a boxer is interviewed, he always says “my focus is on (opponent they are training for).” Why do interviewers ask the SAME damn questions 50 times. Stop asking fighters if they plan to fight so and so WHILE they are training for a specific opponent. You know and they know that is highly disrespectful to the opponent. Just further proves that media (not just boxing but all media) loves to stir crap up. No body asks questions like “so we notice your exponential increase in improvement after your loss to Floyd. Do you feel the same will happen in regards to your loss to Bivol? What have you learned? What do you feel you can improve on? Have your losses increased or decreased your your motivation and self confidence? In pursuit of of your legacy, what do you hope to mark your ultimate accomplishment in the sport? Is it belts? Is it being known for risks regardless of the outcome? Is it to be worldly recognized or more so recognized for your country? I feel every interview I watch with every boxer is the same damn question. Love when Floyd tells interviewers “do your homework.” Lol

GGG is more skillful then Bivol at least on the offense, and he has less fear of Canelo, However, GGG is nearing retirement and Canelo is prime, our best bet is GGG get's up for the fight and Canelo underestimates him. would be nice if GGG got a win cause he's been robbed vs Canelo and this ruins his legacy in the books.

There’s a reason GGG holds the record for the highest KO % in MW championship history. He has knocked down and/or stopped every opponent since 2012 with the exception of Canelo. I suspect this may just be Canelo not wishing to give GGG any credit because he doesn’t like him.

No GGG is powerful but part of it is because of the relentless pressure. Man is like a steam train and won't leave you alone. I think Canelo is talking about one punch power. GGG it's more the cumulative damage. A good example is Vitali Klitschko not hitting as hard as his younger brother Wladimir for instance (according to pretty much everyone who's been in the ring with them) but Vitali having a higher KO percentage. GGG is a skilled, consistent puncher but not the biggest puncher, although he is a big puncher. Lemieux for instance is a much harder puncher than GGG but he's not as skilled.
