been looking for this for about a year since i heard it on the radio
For me, this is the best performance of her 3
....let's put this to rest, the studio versions ate equally as god as the live performances! They are both great for all her songs! And this song is no exception, amazing as always!
I don't think they tell her to take away the power while she's in the studio...I think she just turns it up a notch when she performs live.

Absolutely excellent. Slower than the original, yet, that is what makes it better! I would give a 98%. Fantastic! A little to " brag like" at times. Some points are exaggerated to much. At one point, she over-vocalized a specific part. Magnificent though!

When Candice says "these tears I hold inside", she over-vocalized. It may sound good, but it makes the song have much less of a purpose and meaning. An analogy would be food. Toppings (vocals) can improve the song. Too much, and you lose the whole point of the song.

I love this version more than the original.
Why do they keep taking away the power from her voice in the studio recordings? Part of the reason I love her live performances is because her voice has that extra umph to it but in the recorded version it's gone :l

Good job on this. she is my pick to leave although Laz should go home. She has J-Hud potential. At worst she can be the next Mandisa. i have seen Mandisa in concert twice.
