Our health care system is so much worse than many countries in Central and South America, and Europe. I’m going to be 48 this year and my husband and I have never been able to afford a house in Canada. It’s become unaffordable and unliveable. We are already looking at moving.

  • @tandanielle3875

What is she talking about that the health care system doesn’t get better than Canada? That’s just not true. It’s in shambles and there are so many places that offer affordable or free healthcare that is high quality. In Canada people are dying while waiting for care.

Canada has its challenges and I think alot of the problems come from our governance. We think that the federal government is responsible for our well being but the reality it is the provincial governments that have the most impact on our lives. Healthcare and housing are primarily the responsibility of the provincial governments. Those are two of the major problems. Engage actively with the correct level of governments to bring about change that will improve our lives. .

Canada is a springboard to populate the USA. In fact, many immigrants to Canada come from this country only to obtain citizenship and a Canadian passport. Once they have obtained these two documents, they request immigration to the USA and obtain it very quickly. The two countries, Canada and the USA, began the process of immigration to Canada in 1867 at the same time as populating this continent in 1820. The total population of USA in 2023 is 339,996,563 people. The total population of Canada in 2023 is 40.77 million. Justin Trudeau's father Pierre Elliote Trudeau, former Prime Minister of Canada from 1968 to 1979 and from 1980 to 1984, politician, writer wanted to increase the population of Canada to 50 million but did not succeed.

Too much to consider, being a single adult your accountable for your choices. With a family, to move to any location mentioned free? Nothings free, fine print and political guidelines will be a hurdle to get your offer and how about language barriers and job security? Health care system and omg is there even wifi in those places. Personally leaving is not an option. I’ve been groomed to appreciate what I have and able to adapt to change like inflation and interest rates, just have to keep on that hustle. And I’m ok with that, Canada is a great place to live and raise a family.
