This isn't just about what happens in Canada. It's also about what happens in the US, in Germany, in France, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Spain... These truckers are holding the line for the world. For freedom and democracy around the world. Whatever happens in Ottawa will have a knock-on effect worldwide. If Trudeau is allowed to get away with this authoritarian madness, other political leaders will feel emboldened to follow his example. If the truckers prevail, and Trudeau is forced to resign, it will serve as a cautionary tale for other governments. The police could de-escalate - and probably end - this whole situation if they indicated that they were standing with the truckers and intended to refuse to obey their PM's ridiculous, tyrannical diktats. Canada's Governor-General could also end it by dismissing Trudeau, which she has the power to do under Canadian law. Whatever happens, he needs to be removed, or better still, thrown into prison.

Most of the Canadians I've heard are so well spoken and calm - I am really impressed. @@jsshay01 one of the coolest aspects I've observed in the protests against tyrannical subjugation is demonstrated by those who immigrated to Canada from communist block countries. Drivers of Russian, Romanian(dictator Ceausescu), among other communist block countries who understand all too well what these dictates from government lead to. Their passion, therefore, to stand opposed is much appreciated. Once freed from under-the- thumb-rule one is compelled all the more from seeing it being repeated.

The government is forcing Canadians to remove these vehicles against their protest because its a quick way to unalive their business, the truckers are their clients. Trudeau continues to try and push the divide. He also suggested that members of parliament (some of Jewish decent and some with holocaust ancestors) stood with the swastika. He was called upon by members for an apology, he instead used his response time to push his political narrative. He was continued to be called upon for an polity and he eventually left the House of Commons, never providing an apology.

Which people?. Including those blocked in their homes, those who cannot get an ambulance in emergency, those not sleeping 3 weeks, those who did get shouted at in malls for wearing mask, those who chose to get vaccinated to help lockdowns end and protect the same ones blocking Ottawa? What about those? And those are the majority. Demonstrations are one thing, blocking a city another, roasting a pig in the street, building saunas, using pples backyards..that is not an image of pple fighting for essential rights. People entitled who do not care about anyone else's rights and needs, individualists who only attend to "me, myself and I".

Unfortunately, I had contractual requirements, and couldn't be there with them. I'd sure love to be though, and so would most people I know.
