In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family lead as normal a life as possible so please donate generously: gogetfunding.com/arewethereyet/
None of that would be possible without my official sponsors:

🤣 That railway crossing fulfilled Murphy's Law perfectly! That bell probably felt like someone put a saucepan over your head and kept hitting it with a hammer after ten minutes.

What a beautiful ride, Kinga, in spite of the weather. That ringing at the railroad crossing would give me a bad headache. I hope your ears were okay. The Icefields Parkway was some absolutely fantastic scenery. Stunning! I hope wherever you are, you're doing well. Safe travels. See you in the next one. ❤

Good for tourists to see the Canadian economy rolling - even if it's to Asia. The other Class I railway in Canada moved its headquarters to Alberta from Québec in the 1990's in part because most of its business was now mostly in bulk commodities (coal, grains, potash, sulphur, oil, ...).

Awesome to see you are ridding in my back yard. Funny to see that you stayed in Jasper at the Hy-Jasper Hostel. Great place. We stayed there a few months ago with a group of students on our school ski trip.

Glad you enjoyed the Icefields Parkway Kinga! Awesome road down from Dawson, past Jasper to Banff but unfortunately very crowded now compared to when we lived in Calgary in the early '80s. Thanks for sharing!

You do a nice job combining the thrill of travel on a bike, the beautiful sights & also the frustrations of many hours, weather & visibility & delays. It's all of a piece when traveling. Aliveness!

Hi, it's all said by the other comments! But your hair can't be wild enough! In this case I'm a classic man, women's hair is most nicer, if it's longer! My favorite, long dark hair! During traveling it's not so easy perhaps, I know! I 've lost nearly all on my head and I cut off all I can get rid of, when starting journey. So I'm wondering how nice you will look with shoulder long dark hair... Sorry, was just dreaming, wear your hair as you like it! Looks fine - everytime! Thanks, for being your pillion (if this makes sense) (perhaps some mistakes in my translation)

Excess redundancy of 2 trains and the crossing bell. BUT, the views of the mountains and waterfalls more than made up for the trains and bells.

Kinga- that was a caribou. (at 1 minute) -probably a female given the hair color on the neck and the small horns. The females can be especially vicious (just kidding!).
