And yet, the Albertans and Ontarians and everybody else keep lining up to move here. We put the mountains where they are to keep the worst of the winter weather (and the easterners) away; clearly we need to stack them higher. We'll happily take your jokes & derision on an 11 degree day in January, or even for the full two extra months it takes the rest of Canada to reach springtime.

Excellent dig at the Canucks. I have always used the ratio of incidents between shot guns and snow plows as a meter to determine the severity of the snow.

Snow? What do you think this is? Canada?
What about Montréal ? 🙁
It sure is funny hearing Canadians whine about snow. I grew up in Minnesota, and we just expected it. I still remember the winter we had to buy a two stage snow thrower because the single stage Toro could not get through the 18 inch snowfalls we were getting. The cold and wind that follows a snow storm is what we hate, because then you don't want to go out at all.

Tax payer funded comedians. It's part of the reason my senior parents got nailed in taxes, OAS adjustment etc because they took $5,000 out of their retirement fund. Gotta keep 'er all going, the needs of Canada. I also gave it all much thought when my 78 yr old mother had to wait in a hospital ER for 12 hrs because only one ER doc was on duty in a city of 130,000. We need the tax payer funded comedians......we really do....
@robbpeppertree

Yeah. I didn't even crack a smile at any of this... This is such a pedestrian effort at comedy. Mostly ripping on Vancouver because we had 2 days of snow... Which happens annually, and doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with it, so they just shut down for a week. Which is fine... We don't get as much vacation time as Ontario does. So when we get our one week of snow per year... Fuck it! The docks receiving everyone's crap from Asia can wait another week.

@@robbpeppertree accurate. I do think we are going back to the weather of the 70s when we had winter every year. Look at all that Global Warming.
@canoebushman5573
4 жыл бұрын
Well yes technically it is "global warming" cuz as the ice melts in the polar regions, water is added to our oceans. This can create larger rainfalls or snowfalls if you may (due to the water cycle). Other adverse weather effects may appear such as (but not limited too) increased humidity and hurricanes. So yes it is "Global warming", but I prefer the term climate change as our planets "climate" is changing. The effects of climate change is not limited to weather btw.
