They are amazing, so glad we have them in Maine now. ;)

They are so beautiful & amazing! Imagine being able to survive the conditions they do. And of course, they vocalize to find each other, just like we call out to each other. I hope the extraordinary Canadian Lynx survive our age of extinction.

@@MaineWoodsbooger I came to Maine as quick as I could when I was a kid. The sound is great as well. I have seen many bobcats while deer hunting but never a lynx :)

Awesome! I was surprised at all the different sounds they make. Living in Lowcountry of SC all my life I’ve never seen or heard a Lynx. Hearing them first hand and not knowing what it is, could really make the imagination run wild! I really enjoy and look forward to your videos!

Thanks! It's my buddies rig, heck I couldn't afford that right now, I still have a teenage son at home who eats, sleeps, and plays baseball year round. 😂 Funny thing, I did have my snowshoes in the rig, I just got too excited or lazy to put them on. LOL Thanks as always for watching!

Man some of the best lynx footage I've seen!!! I tried for most of the winter to try n capture lynx but only got one quick glimpse! Hopefully next winter I get them better!

This is so cool! I’m so envious. I have a camera trap and camera set up in Plumas County Ca and get mountain lions, bobcats, bear, and fox. To get a lynx that would be incredible (yes, I know we don’t have them). I loved hearing how vocal they are, actually I loved every part of this video ❤️. Do you think they are breeding? They sound like cats in heat. Their feet are to die for. I have subscribed to you! Thank you this was amazing.

My oldest daughter lives in San Diego, and my brother lives in San Jose. I would die to get a cougar on camera! So, we are kind of in the same boat? Do you post your videos to KZread? Also, to answer your question, the lynx are in heat now. In fact , females come into estrus once a year and only lasts 1-2 days. Lynx are just making a comeback here in Maine, so exciting!

Man, do those cats ever shut up? I never realized they are so vocal. Your footage is probably revealing some unknown behaviors for sure. Awesome video once again! You have quite the spot... I would be setting up a blind and sit for hours waiting to take a photo 📷 .

Thanks Jesse! I am quite surprised by the vocalizations as well. I could listen to them for hours! A friend has a dslr camera trap near this location and is getting some nice photos. I'm ready for spring though!

Looks like KZread keeps removing my comment here. Your lynx footage was shared on the Weather Network. They did credit you. I don't think I have ever even seen in any nature documentary lynx vocalization like you have captured.

@@Geckocan That's weird that they are deleting your comment. I worked with Storyful for a non-exclusive agreement for them to use a couple clips. Good for them, and me. :)

Snyder: " I'm a Lab I'll eat ANYTHING". There's one guy you see a few times that appears to have something going on with his right eye, but it doesn't seem he has missed too many meals.... How about some scat ID?
