Just do the minigame seeing stars the hardest thing you'll ever encounter will be a bucket head... just spam tall nuts, get winter melons, and keep one of the star fruit places open until you get overwhelmed... also just spam marigolds and golden magnets for money as the devs knew this could happen. Also you dont click the bag or trophy before you close the level. You exit THEN click it as many times as you want. (Trophys have a much faster process so do it with uncompleted levels.)

In a level that gives you a trophy(not the aquarium because that's a card), when the trophy appears, do NOT click it and quit. Then come back in, collect it and get out. Then repeat. That's how you do the infinite money glitch. If you wanna do it, that is.

Matt, the Melon-Pult does splash-damage of a 3 by 3 area. If you do the right pattern, then you can actually hit all the zombies on the field without putting Melon-Pults in all lanes. Also Winter-Melons are really OP.

fun fact: the "seeing stars" minigame is a easier endless mode as long as you don't fill in the star with starfruit, you will not make as much money by playing it normally (as by design) but your marigolds might work! place high damage dealers like winter melons in the front and get the money rolling in from the back.

The worm was a reference to Bookworm. The green fuzzball in slime was a Chuzzle. Another game of theirs. The unicorn was a reference to Peggle. And the Aztec statue was a reference to Zuma. All classics back when Popcap was on top of PC and Mobile gaming! ✨

I remember trying this one and being confused when it didn’t work. Years later, I realize how broken that would be. EA wants your money.

Tip, If your goal is to use the gold magnet you don't need the coffee bean,just plant it on the magnet-shroom as its still asleep!

Oh yeah, gold magnet is actually not a mushroom, so you can plant it on top of a sleeping magnet shroom and it will wake up. No coffee beans necessary.

Hey Matt, maybe you could try keeping a few zombies at the end of the level so that the marigolds keep going. You would have to replace the tall nuts more frequently but at least the cheat would work

Yo Matt, so here's a good tip to have a spare slot just to collect more coins with the gold magnet while also surviving. If you're just trying to get the magnet to turn it to the gold magnet, you can just upgrade it. You won't need the coffee bean just to wake up the magnet if you're just going to turn it to the gold magnet. Sorry if didn't make sense, I'm bad at explaining things in words lol. Either way I'm really happy you're having fun with the old games. As for that scrolling Easter egg, alot of them are references to their other games. The skeleton unicorn is from peggle. Another fun game I suggest giving it a go on your free time. Have fun!

Hey Matt The spikerocks that cost 7,500 coins is so durable like for example if a gargantuar tries to crush the spikerock it will still remain alive but if the gargantuar is not dead it will keep trying to crush the spikerock so the spikerock is for stalling the gargantuars and also does double damage and also if you're trying to play endless mode: survival you will see another zombie called THE GIGA-GARGANTUAR!!! they will have double health and has red eyes

Hey Matt, just reminding you, one of the hardest minigames are Pogo Party. Pogo Party will have a lot of Pogo Zombies and only a few regular zombies. This minigame is pretty hard, so you basically need Melon-pults, Winter Melons, Tall-nuts/Wall-nuts, and Pumpkins,Coffee Bean, Magnet shroom, and the "pear" and other explosive plants.

Fun fact: When you place a magnet shroom, put a gold magnet on it and you don’t need coffee bean

Finding the best setup to grind coins, I'd argue that the coffee bean is useless for what you're doing! If you put the coin magnet ability on the magnet shroom, it won't even need coffee to be awake.

Hey Matt, in survival endless, at around the 10th flag, the game will spawn red-eyed gargantuars, which can tank 3 instas and can spawn along with normal gargantuars. also the game will start spamming them

Hey Matt, if you turn a magnet-shroom into a gold magnet you don't actually need coffee bean, the upgrade wakes it up Also, there is a way to AFK money in this game: you will need a lot of zen garden plants, bug spray, phonograph, and stinky the snail. Once all the plants have bug spray or phonograph, give stinky chocolate then just leave it. With a full zen garden i believe you can get around $20,000 every half an hour

Not sure if it's been mentioned but those are all references to other popcap games. The worm is from a spelling fame that I can't remember the name...bookworm maybe?. The creepy skull Ihink is Zuma. For me i just re-do the last level/boss in the main campaign and honestly it's pretty easy and you get a couple of diamonds for it. 1 diamond = 1000 coins

Matt, for the money exploit, play a mini-game you have not played yet, when the trophy appears, click menu then go to the main menu, then go back onto that minigame and press continue, now you are free to pick up the trophy and go back into that minigame to pick it up again

Hey Matt, the Last Stand pack is very expensive at 100,000, but it is worth every penny as one run can get you as much as 25,000. You can also make a setup before the zombies come so you get as much money possible while having no problems with the zombies. This is best used on Last Stand Endless.

my money making strategy is in one of the mini game where you can plant the defence before you start, i just plant alot of marie gold on the back with 2/3 money magnets and tall nut / pumkin on 3/4 blocks on all front rows.

Hey Matt, personally i don't like the cob canon, i mean it is good as a free-to-reload-insta-kill plant, but the recharge is pretty slow. I think going for the winter melon first would be a plus, it has splash damage for crowd control, and the damage is very high, not to mention it slows zombies by 50%, it is always part of my loadout when doing survival roof, or any other survival gamemode for that matter, hope this helps! (What is your opinion on the fact that squids use jet propulsion to travel.)

Im the total opposite. It gets stale and boring after a while. There are a lot of interesting plants ngl but the microtransactions and the overall way the devs made lvls is bad. This is all my opinion so ofc not a fact at all.

Btw matt in i zombie you can use screen door zombies to protect your zombies from the snow pea’s snow effect. You can also do that with the ladder zombie

Matt, Buy stinky the snail so you'll get some chocolates during the game. The chocolate can boost stinky and speed it up when collecting coins or, you can use those chocolates to make your Zen garden plants generate more coins after you give them a bug spray or phonograph. That can help you to earn more money when you're not playing. Also, Cattail is a dog.

Tip:it's better to use planterns in survival fog it cost 50sun and if it's protected greatly there will be no fog for the rest of the survival fog while blovers cost 100 and need to be placed when you appears again even with a really good defense

Hey there Matt, thanks for reading my comment. So I think I might have written the wrong step. First, you need to get enough sun to finish the game. At that point, you leave the mini-game and go back in. It should be saved and you should be on 1k suns. At that point you can finish the minigame and every time you enter the minigame, it will have it saved at the end. Sorry for making it seem confusing.

You can actually get a unit called the cob cannon you place it by placing two kernel things together but you have to have the cob cannon unlocked.

Future will give them shades, Mustache... you can guess what it does lol, Dance will make your zombies dance, and last Pinata it will make your zombies make a explosion of candy! (Note: For Dance and pinata you need the Tree of Wisdom to be tall enough. Idk how tall though)
