Fun Fact: The Zombiquarium minigame is based on another previous game from PopCap, Insaniquarium (Stinky the Snail was actually was introduced here); the same thing with Beghould and Beghould Twist, (Bejeweled and Bejeweled Twist)

1:46 Scratch normally likes to do that whenever you go to another tab and focus out of the project, so probably don't do that. It'll fail to load the costume/sprite.

btw, the reason why in some games that some zombies are invinsible is because of a clone block glitch that has it forget a previous variable (In this case, hp). I had the same issue with a foxy fighters remake.

Love seeing smaller channels still giving this game love, keep at it.

39:05 They're not missing because of distance they're missing because the zombies aren't moving. Lobber plants in that version are set to fire just infront of a zombie to account for it's walking (the projectile will hit that spot by the time the zombie gets there) which is why they land infront of them when a zombie is eating a walnut (they're not moving so it can't hit it and will always land infront of it)

That's not exactly how it works and I can tell you as the creator of the game, it's just a bug with calibration I am trying to fix

honestly the least surprising thing that you thought was good about 24:30 game was the lawnmowers, as a brand new scratch dev I can confirm that it would be easy to do with costumes

I think the reason the pults miss in that one game is because they shoot a little ahead so it hits the zombies while they are walking, but this causes them to miss when they’re eating.

I like how the 1st game creator just makes the plants 2.5D

Hello, I am the creator of ''PVZ game progress 4'' and I want to point out a few things: 1)Bro I know how to animate, but this game has a lack of them to fix lags, to be honest I don't know why it still lags for you. 2)Lemon pult does 3x3 splash damage on impact, but every plant info is in the Almanac. 3)I'm sorry for the bullets missing target bug, I can't fix it, however, it's very rare and also the lobbing plants are the strongest in the game. 4)The butter thing that the primal peashooter does is because every stunning action gives zombies butter, I will fix that. 5)The thumbs of the unplayable levels are just because I know the zombies I will put in.

1:35 If There Are Gray? Marks Then The Scratch Is Lagging.

The reason for the weird question marks is due to a bug on Scratch. I've had it before and it's TERRIBLE! It basically makes random sprite costume become grey boxes with a question mark because it forgot the texture. If you get the bug you can never fix it so you've basically lost your costume you spent ages creating. I've lost things from that bug and it's sad seeing projects ruined from it. There is also that other annoying bug with the clone blocks where having too many just disables them so it causes zombies to be immortal and plants to stop shooting and stops sun appearing and plants being placeable etc Scratch bugs ruin so many amazing projects :(

@@Moferr I suppose it is intended to prevent you from using too many clones at once to prevent lag or something but despite not being a bug in itself, this feature is a bug in terms of the projects that have this thing. Like you try using clones and suddenly the clones stop working which ruins your whole project. It's a bug in the project that's all because of a feature nobody asked for and nobody wants.
