There’s a minigame called Last Stand where you’re given 5000 sun and you can’t use sunflowers. The gimmick is you set everything up before initiating the horde. You can make a large strategy with Marigolds, that way you can make lots of money.

The next time a Zomboni “raid” happens, I recommend having spikeweeds ready near the front of your lawn. And if you’re able to afford it, the spikerocks are even better for zombies like who are 1-hit by spikeweeds since the spikerocks can can take on three Zombonis or gargantuar hits before being destroyed.

In PvZ2 it can dies after 3 hits because 1 hit survived per large spike but on PvZ1 it dies after e9 hits because 3 hits per large spike.

Hey matt, to prevent those pesky zombonis from running over your strategy, throw in a spikerock in every lane. They can instantly destroy multiple zombonis, while also tanking many hits by a gargantuar (you can tell how durable a spikerock is by looking at how many white spikes it has left). Also, for any level that doesnt have a pool, make sure you use cactus or blovers to eliminate balloon zombies (you can probably use cattails in pool and fog). In hard mode, you will either run out of emergency or have to use them on gargantuars.

Hey matt!, you should get stinky the snail for your garden, if u give him some chocolate that you find whenever u kill a zombie, he will collect coins for u,note: its best if you do this whenever u exit the game

hey Matt, I have a little tip for you, if you want to gain lot of money fast, I suggest you to continue taking care of your Zen garden, when plants in it are fully grown, you can sell them for quite a lot of money, Marigold fully grown can be selled for 5,000$ while other plants can be sold for 8,000$ once fully grown (and that's legal compared to the trophy glitch XD)

Matt the worm in the achievement area's Easter eggs is from a game called "book worm", you can look it up if you want

Tip: Blovers are like 1000% percent better than the cacti

Matt PvZ 3 is actually on closed beta so if you wanna get access to it im just saying. keep up the series im loving it

If you get a mushroom in the zen garden you can’t water them until you buy the night time area (Costs 30k gold) Same thing applies to Aquatic plants like Sea shrooms and tangle kelps ( Aquatic area also costs 30k gold). ALSO, the best way I’ve found to make money fast (legitimately) is to sell fully grown zen garden plants (with the dollar sign icon at the top ) Here are Exact values for selling: Marigold (any color): 3k or 5k ( unsure) Day plants/Pool plants/Grave buster:8k Mushroom plants/Aquatic plants: 10k You can also combine this with Survival:Endless for even more efficiency! (As someone who played the mobile version of PvZ, this strategy really made it easier to buy stuff)

Hey Matt, A great way to start a level is by killing the first zombie with a potato mine. They cost less than a squash and allow you to build up sun before more zombies!

It’s nice to see Matt’s progression through the series because he learns from the fans or from trial and error

In the survival gamemode, it is quite fun just to see how far you can get, i reccomend doing it on pool, i know six lanes and the need for lily pads may seem like a downside but it leaves more room for more winter melons and less magnet shrooms if you know what i mean. (And cattails are like so fun to use) Edit: Also place spickrock/weed IN front of the zombonis to stop them

Hey Matt, just reminding you, one of the hardest minigames are Pogo Party. Pogo Party will have a lot of Pogo Zombies and only a few regular zombies. This minigame is pretty hard, so you basically need Melon-pults, Winter Melons, Tall-nuts/Wall-nuts, and Pumpkins,Coffee Bean, Magnet shroom, and the "pear" and other explosive plants.

In the zen garden the 2 diamonds produced is when you can tell you can maximum sell a plant

Tip : if the bobsled zombies haven't got off their bobsled yet and are still riding in it, chomper can actually eat the whole bobsled along with the 4 zombies in it

I was just playing Plants vs Zombies right before this video came out lol.

Zombie Nimble Zombie Quick is just the regular game but its faster, Column Like You See 'Em is kinda hard and intense but very fun. Spikeweeds are good for countering Zomboni and spikerocks are even better since it takes three hits from the Zomboni before its dead.

Ayo bro, like srsly this series actually helping me to know the perfect day to start doing my assignment before next week.

You should start doing survivals. I know you did night , but they are very fun and cool. Especially the pool survival!

Matt, the melon pults do splash damage, however it does less damage. Just thought you should know!

catapults all fire at half the speed of a peashooter, cabbage pult does the damage of 2 peas, kernels do the damage of 1 pea, butter does the damage of 2 peas, and melons do the damage of 4 peas

Matt, you can get different plants for your zen Garden by playing in the, "biome" I guess, (normal Garden, nightime Garden, Pool, night Pool and terrace), for example you can get threepeater or lilypad from Pool thematic stages, starfruit from nightime Pool stages, etc. So you can try it out!

Matt there is a pvz2 aswell it has more stages more plant and a way to hurt your wallet

Hey matt! the best way to get more plants (for Zen Garden) is actually Survival Endless Mode. Since they have the most zombies in the game, so you have a much higher chance for Presents/Plants! So make sure to get that quickly if you want a full Garden!

Matt, in seeing stars, if you dont place the last starfruit, the game just goes on forever, so you can bring marigolds and gold shrooms to get infinite money while AFK.

Just some tips for ya When your plants in Zen garden start emitting a golden-yellowish energy, they are ready to be sold. You can't freeze Zomboni's. Star-fruits are like pea-shooters and can only hit zombies on the flat part of the roof. Puff shrooms can be used as a temporary shield during day levels because they are free and they have a quick recharge. Don't try to use garlic or Hypno shrooms on gargantuars. They'll just crush it.

Matt, PLEASE buy the extra slots You can get past levels WAY easier just with 1 extra seed slot! I tried a survivial game and I tried with 8 and failed, but I bought 9 and got through it easily! Please buy it.

Zen garden tips: Marigold offer the least amount of coins due to being more common than non marigolds. Stinky isn't really that good in pc without chocolate and AFK'ing and was only buffed to collect coins while you're away in the mobile port bonus fact: Hypnotizing zombotany zombies is a death wish since they still hurt your plants with the exception of wall/tall nut zombotany, worst case scenario you hypnotize a Jalapeño zombotany and he blows up a whole lane of plants still

tip: please try and get the imitator. its a really good plant because its like a second one of any plant, that means you don't have to wait as long to place another one. also please read this matt its a good tip to know

Hey matt, buy imitater. Its basically the tadpole from insaniquarium. You can have 2 of the same plants, if you want an early game insta kill plants, use 2 potato mines. If you are on a night/fog level, use 2 puff-shroom. If you want to plant tall-nuts, use 2 tall-nuts and if you want to plant pumpkins on your plants then use 2 pumpkins. You get the point. Also use blover instead of cactus.

Anyone excited for him to play pvz 2. It has so much more content and plants.

Here’s something to know about PvZ2. It has wayyyy more content, it has over 150 plants and lots of different maps you can play on which makes the game very long lasting and enjoyable. The downside though, is that it is very VERY pay to win.

You should play "eclise". It's a mod of pvz2 which changes the game completely. It makes the game rely on strategy instead of in game purchases.

There this tip that MAY be helpful: use imitator(with puff-shroom) and then place one ice-pea/winter melon as your attack, then use puff-shroom to be the meat shield, the gargantuar will be stalled infinitely until it dies, super op(can even used to grind coins(marigold)).

Yuss, my favorite plant ever. The cob cannon.

the imitator is an incredible plant as it allows you to have two plants ( two marigolds)

Planting Cob Cannon is the meaning of hard work for PVZ fans

Matt, if you place a column of gloom shrooms and put pumpkins on them you create a "gloom wall" which is really op since the gloom shrooms will kill zombies in front, diagonally up and down, which gives most of the "wall" the firepower of 3 gloom shrooms at the same time (the lanes to the far top and far bottom only get the dps of 2 gloom shrooms but that's still ridiculous). To make it even more overkill you can put lanes of winter melon and cob cannons behind the gloom wall.

Matt here are the explosive radius for each explosive plants: Potato mine : 1 tile (possible to kill multiple zombies if stacking) Cherry bomb : 9 tiles Cob cannon : 9 tiles Doom-Shroom : about 49 tiles All of them (except Doom-Shroom) deal half health to normal gargantuar

Hey Matt, Love your videos, just a reminder that If your plants in the zen garden is fully grown up,selling them is a must so that you could plant more and sell more, and selling the plants actually gives you a big fortune, that's all. I've always been waiting for your vids, always lights up my day

Tip for matt: If you sell fully grown plants in the zen garden marigolds give you $5000 and others give you $8000. Also your hypno shroom and other night/water plants need a special zen garden cage

Matt if you need get rid the zamboni you can just use spike weeds Also it's good that you got the that new spikeweed cuz it takes a lot of of hits till it dies

Here’s some tips for day on hard use the blover for the balloons and use rockweed to insta kill the zombonie

Mat if u are really interested in stalling for money on survival stoneweeds the spike weeds upgrade is extremely op expecially combined with the garlic

Kernel Pult should’ve won the nut didn’t get touched once and for the cabbage the nut almost got destroyed

PvZ 2 is a bit of a "pay to win" game so don't be disappointed when you play it, but PvZ 2 is indeed a fun game

Quick Tip matt, Buy The Wheel Barrow and the night/day garden in the shop to move your water plants or mushrooms to their places with the wheelbarrow and they'll start making money. also I recommend checking the garden daily

Matt, on the Starfruit minigame you can just not complete it for a free endless mode, however on this one you only get the 3 basic zombies, allowing you to basically infinitely farm coins if you'd like, thought I'd let ya know!

Make sure if there are balloon zombies coming you should always want to use the blover to counter them, it can get rid of the entire screen worth of balloons.
