Can YOU Spot a Liar? Body Language Analyst BUSTS Fake Holiday Reactions in NATIONAL COMMERCIAL!
Ойын-сауық
I was in a National Commercial for the Holidays! AT&T hired me to secretly watch social media influencers open gifts and, using their facial expressions, body language and choice of words, reveal which of their gifts they were lying about liking! Can YOU figure out which reactions are real and which ones earned them a place on the naughty list? Find out now!

I lost my son 9yrs ago today, so I woke up dreading the day as I always do. But this yr has been different, and I'd like to thank you so much for that Spidey. I laughed, I smiled, my heart felt so warm. And most importantly, I got out of my own head for a while. I've always loved your videos, I enjoy the community you have built here, such a safe space. I used all the tools you have given us to try my hand at seeing if I could figure out their body languages. It was a great hour, and I will forever be grateful. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I wish you and yours all the best this holiday season. Luv from the West Coast of Canada 💝

Oh my god. I am so so so sorry. I’ve always said that losing a child must be the worst experience this life has to offer a person. I can’t imagine what that’s like or what you’ve gone through. I must tell you, I was feeling a little bummed out that my numbers on the channel haven’t been as high as usual the last few days, maybe because people are getting ready for the holidays, but seeing your comment, and how this made you smile even for one second, made numbers stop mattering! I would have made this video if nobody watched it except for you. ❤️ I’m so thankful that you watched the video and commented to share your story. You have no idea what it means to me that I was able to give you a moment of peace. It’s worth more to me than any Christmas gift anyone can possibly give me. I would like to pin this comment so that it can remind me why I do this but also because I want everyone in this amazing community to take a moment of pause to send you warm thoughts and hugs.

The positive energy in this video is through the roof! I laughed from the heart at your interactions, those were so genuine! And you, Spidey, seem so happy and proud and eager to show us what you have been working on. I am so glad you brought these four people to talk about what went on in their minds during the actual shooting of the commercials, they all seem like lovely people who enjoyed sharing their stories with you! AWESOME video, just like you promised!

Yay, Spidey! This was wonderful! So much fun. It was really fun to see you do your stuff with “real people” who could respond directly and confirm or deny your assertions. And you got everything right OF COURSE! This is why we all watch you, because you are so good. I have learned a LOT from watching you, and I’ll forever be grateful. I can’t really put a lot of it into consciousness yet, but I was 100% certain of which gifts they liked and which they didn’t. And after you talked about it more, I was able to say yeah, that’s what caught my attention. I’m getting better and better at being able to spot these things in real time. So, thanks for that! Thanks for a fun video, and I’m so glad they picked you to do this! 🎉

Hi Spidey ~ love seeing your joy in demonstrating and applying your craft! You seem to be having so much fun. I'm glad you had this unique opportunity with ATT: they spotted a winner in working with you and employing your talents! Wishing you and your little zoo a very Merry Christmas and bright, joyous, New Year.
Loved this!!👏🏻 the interviews with them made it even more interesting! Maybe you could do a part 2 another time with Anthony? I’d love to see that too!😃👏🏻 Well done, Spidey! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
As this plays, my cat is resting on sofa with her ears directed backwards towards me. I think she is listening to your voice! Kitty empath😂

Thanks so much! Yeah it was a great relief that we all got along because I didn’t want any of them to feel slighted or duped. So it was so great that they took it positively and had fun with it.
Loved this, it’s up there with Catherine and McCauley video! Loved the discussion with the participants, especially with Ashlee and Tisha. You could feel the love, respect and consideration they have for each other. Nice change from the toxic couples. We’re in a world of duality and teaching us the good and bad is valuable. Spidey, you touch lives. Thank you ❤
I really love this , I’ve worked in niteclubs( a long time ago) ..I had this intuition about how to read people, but this gives me so much more insight into why people make certain gestures or mannerisms and what to expect out of a customer. Thanks for sharing these insights. I’ll keep watching for sure.
YAY! Finally understand why you've been so exited about this project the last few weeks. It was so much fun. Btw You look great that shade of blue suits you.. Loved loved loved.

Question I'm curious if you've taken the personality test? If so are you INTJ or ENTJ or neither? I'm curious to see how accurate I analize personality styles.
@TheBehavioralArts

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😊 It’s really difficult to guess my Myers Brigs type because being an analyst forced me away from my natural instincts. For example I’m naturally an N more than a S. but with analysis we learn to trust what we see a heck of a lot more than what we feel. Or sense. Same with F and T. I go back and forth between the two a LOOOOOOT So yeah ENTJ isn’t wrong. But if you said ESTJ or ENFJ. It wouldn’t be so off either
This is so awesome, Spidey!! Thank you so much for posting this!
Omgosh Spidey! This was so fun! It made me laugh! Thank you!
You seem very proud of your work as you should! Your knowledge and spot on deduction will never cease to amaze me. I've always been not only a shy introvert, but also woman working in male-dominated work environment. I've learned a lot from you and I try to use this knowledge to read the room better and appear more likeable, especially at work. Thanks to this, I gained self-confidence, I get along better with my coworkers and I can handle public speaking so much better. Believe it or not, as a result, my company began to have big plans for the future with me. Thank you so much again for your hard work and positive attitude! I can't wait to learn even more from you next year :) Happy holidays!
I absolutely loved this video, it’s not just the behaviour analysis stuff, it’s you Spidey that makes it so enjoyable to learn about. I always look forward to your videos.
Spidey, I’d love to see a Part 2 with Anthony and Taty. They were both so delightful to watch. ❤❤ Can you tell us where to find them on socials? I need more of these two!! I sadly won’t be able to get the original footage. It’s rather standard for shoots like this that I get the result and that’s about it. I’m glad you enjoyed watching Anthony and Tatyana as much as I did. You can find them on any social media by searching their names. Anthony Hamilton Jr. and Tatyana Joseph 😊 they’re both very active on Instagram and TikTok.
You are really humble and relatable man. I really love your content.
I love this video so much. It's nice to see the before, during and after of your analysis.
This reminded me of the Candid Camera shows of my youth. I really enjoyed this as I have trouble telling when people lie.
I love EVERYTHING about this video, Spidey!! I rarely watch TV anymore so I don't see the commercials ... GOOD for you with AT&T!! And what an incredibly cool concept for a commercial. And this whole thing is perfectly in line with your integrity, your generosity (celebrating other people), and your passion for the craft. Thank you and congrats!! 💚
I picture myself there. The thing is when it comes to showing emotions and reacting to presents I am quite a stereotypical German, used to interact with Germans. If I receive a present I like you get a one sided smile and a "I like that, thanks." If I don't like it depends on the person giving it to me. A partner, yeah, my reaction would be: "Oh that's nice, hun, you definitely tried." Most of the times when others give something to me and I don't like it I say something like: "Oh, that's very nice of you." I don't lie but I am happy for someone giving me a present, thinking of me. So, I thank them for that but in a way they don't really recognise that my happiness is because of that and not for the present itself. If it would be something expensive I new I wouldn't use I actually tell since it would be a waste of money to pretend. But in all cases there is no much of an emotional expression. It is all in my eyebrows and right corner of my mouth. And if you think it would be rude to tell someone if you don't like something, in German you get your presents commonly with the mention that we kept the receipt. We don't expect you to pretend, especially not if we paid some good money on it. We prefer you tell you don't like it so it can be exchanged for something you do actually like. In case of less expensive presents there is no reason to straightly tell you, therefore we do let you believe we like it but if you are attentive you might still figure out by the phrasing - but like I said I am very stereotypical here and I am from an area that is known for having the bluntest of Germans anyway. Of course I don't think a skilled behaviour analyst couldn't tell when I actually something a lot since they can consider that it is just the standard level that I don't express emotions - but Americans not used to someone like me would probably think I really hate something when I actually love it.
This was awesome Spidey great job! Really fun!
I love this kind of stuff where someone can study behavioral traits to tell certain things about ppl. I find myself doing it subconsciously too. U really make me wanna get into this field. It’s so unique and important to kno about! Great video. Pretty funny when u think about it in real life happening to urself lol

I love this so so much…it is one of the biggest things I miss about being in the office doing interviews…being able to create a relationship enough to be able openly discuss what behaviors and body language are always telling us…us that listen and feel.
I noticed a slight pause when Ashlee was talking about the flippers and the trip. And then when she explained that she was strategic in her choices, that made a lot of sense to me. She knew this was one of the bad ones.
This is one of your best videos, Spidey! I loved it so much. Feel free to make more long videos hahah
You nailed it, Spidey! It was so much fun to watch and I was thrilled that I was able to tell what gifts they didn’t like as much. Ignore those who say behavior analysis isn’t real because you know it is! I was good at it when I was young, I think I was just observant and a good listener. What you do is an art based on science. I’m a retired RN & I blended my knowledge of science and the art of truly caring and listening to my patients. I tried to do everything I could in advance to know what their needs would be and make sure that they would be comfortable but needs vary. In many professions there is a mix of science and art so it’s not that unusual. Keep doing what you do as you are teaching so many as you entertain and inform us. Thank you!
All of this is amazing! So much fun watching, and learning. Lots of laughs. Thanks Spidy!
Thank you!! Have a great holiday!
This video is pure fun beginning to end!!! I feel like all these creators' fan bases are going to grow through this. Sure, being on a televised commercial is good for business, but this, I think, turned into an accidental collab that AT&T couldn't have predicted. They did it for the commercial value, but the creators are the ones that win in the end with new relationships and bigger fan bases. Super cool!! I love it. Spidey, you really shine in this whole thing!! Super happy for you!! Yes. The numbers will come after everyone settles in for the holidays. Cheers!!
Gotta be honest - I REALLY do not like social media influencers (Spidey, you don’t count) but I thought this was awesome With Ashlee and Tisha especially, I thought it was actually really wholesome (which completely goes against everything I think of influencers) that when she got a gift she didn’t like, she thought about how it would make her partner happy and I think that’s really great
@TheBehavioralArts

I completely agree. When they told me about this I was worried I would be stuck analyzing entitled, self obsessed influencers who are influencers just because they’re influencers. I was delighted to discover all 6 of these hard working, talented and above all, KIND individuals. The respect they all had for each other and for everyone around them was amazing and I don’t think AT&T could have picked better people.
I love your content! I’m watching this on February 13th, so I’ll definitely be watching my husband’s reactions to my Valentine’s gift!! 😂 I have a BA In Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW), so this type of content is very useful to me as well as just entertaining. I’ll continue to watch you and wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!! 💖

Such a fun video! It looks like everyone had a great time working on this project. Merry Christmas!!
That was really fun! Whoever had this idea, deserves a big raise! Great job, Spidey!
Spidey causing drama over Christmas! 😅
With Alex and Jon, the most striking impression I got is that Jon is so relaxed and natural, comfortable with himself while Alex puts forth so much effort to be her best self. Her head is tilted back maybe trying to be seen on camera above the microphone which sits in front of her. While for Jon, his mic was to the side. She is motivated to be a light and be positive. Alex strikes me as a child who grew up with older siblings. I could be wrong, but that is my impression.

Unfortunately, for the people that give me gifts, you do not need a behavioural analyst to tell them if I like it or not. I just can’t fake it.
Maybe recency bias, but I think this is my favorite of all your videos. I loved Alex & Jon, and I will subscribe. They are hilarious. I have to say, tho, that Jon was a little bit of a distraction for me because he reminded me of Russ (not Ross) from the show _Friends._ Great stuff, Spidey. The arms up and strange face that Alex did at the end, i got the impression of like when you're touching something and you find it's something unexpected - drop the thing, let the bits fall from your hands, make it clear that you had nothing to do with the unexpected thing that was just touched\held\shown, a withdrawal of sorts lol, which jives with her saying she was just then realizing that she was the only one not in on the "gag" ❤ Happy Holidays Spidey 💕🌲💕

That was super fun! It made me recognize some of the things I do when I really like a gift. I immediately put on the sweater, or plug in the light or play with the toy when I love the gift! Otherwise it stays in the box or I try to come up with things to say about what I could use it for! Perfect Christmas video!!
Such a great video! It actually reminds me of a gift I gave my sister on Christmas Day. She thinks the Goosebumps book covers are creepy, so I printed out the Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes and framed it. She opened it, and she acted thankful but she was so disappointed 😂. Her real gift was a picture of Hogwarts framed, as she loves Harry Potter. We laughed about it and she said “I was thinking, where the hell can I hang this?!” 😂 On a side note, if Spidey ever came out of the woodwork and met me…. He would know for sure, I’m super excited to meet him! Love your work mate!
This was amazing
This was so much fun! Thank you Spidey.🥰 Hope you have a great Christmas / Holiday season! 🥰🎄🎁🎉
I wish we were able to see them open more gifts. Its pretty obvious that someone would have very different reactions to bracelets vs branded smartglasses
