Body Language Analyst REACTS to Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies Documentary. What is She Hiding?

Ойын-сауық

For the first time since her trial, Casey Anthony opened up about what happened to her daughter, Caylee Anthony, in a new documentary titled "Casey Anthony; Where the Truth Lies." But what does her body language reveal? Is her behavior consistent with an innocent, grieving mother or is there more to this story than meets the eye? Find out now!
Check out Part 2 where my guest and I continue to dig into this story and find 3 MAJOR inconsistencies:

it’s important to note that years back, casey literally said in an interview, “I don’t care what anyone thinks about me. I’m good with myself. I sleep pretty good at night.” Now it’s daily nightmares? Now there’s “no such thing as good sleep”? The math isn’t mathing.

I noticed when she cries it's when she's relating how event effects her. It would be refreshing to see her cry when saying she never get a chance to grow up, have sleep overs, drive a car or get married but that would require her to have emotions about how the events impacted someone else. Also, she wants us to believe that she had no problem having her daughter in a household where so much abuse occurred but was just too tragic for her, yea it does happens but it makes for a major a$$hole award of feeding your child to the monsters

Yes it’s ALWAYS ABOUT HER!! I can’t watch this analysis just bc of the videos of her. She killed her daughter! Everyone KNOWS it she just can’t admit it to herself. I think Zanny the Nanny was a reference to “knocking Caylee out” so she could 🎉 party… I believe she did it before (god knows how often??) it worked and she got careless with it, whether it be chloroform or Xanax and this time Caylee’s respirations ceased. Casey’s personality disorder allowed her to just suck it up and live the “good life” with her new BF and ignore the tragedy!!! It’s beyond sickening… to face the truth is completely unbearable for her… hence this stupid documentary😡 she has managed to convince a group of people that she’s innocent and they convinced her to make this thing so they can profit from it, she can pay her debts off to her defense team 🤬 May Caylee Marie, Rest in His Sweet Peace💗💜

What bothers me is that when she was talking about her daughter and reminescing about her, not once did she cry from those memories. She wasn't wrecked with grief or upset by the memory of her little girl, /someone she had lost/, she had no emotion at all except for when she was talking about herself. I came back to this video because after watching all three parts, I went into a rabbit hole of videos from that time. In this documentary, she says that the whole family had each other's computer passwords, so the search done from her password protected account could have been anyone in the house. Interestingly enough, in the jail footage, her mom asks for that same computer password so that she can retrieve videos of Caylee to share with the public. Clearly, only one person had that password after all!

I hate this take. It lacks all nuance. There's a lot of suspicious behavior involving Casey, and I find it hard to believe she wasn't somehow involved, at least in being negligent and allowing her daughter's death. But I also don't believe she did it on her own, given that the body disappeared for so long. Just writing her off as a monster with no human nuance is exactly what he said not to do. There's a lot of reasons why Casey may have been flippant before and not now. The fact is, she's acquitted. She can never be found guilty of the death of her daughter, so there's no reason for her to be torn up about it if she did it and really didn't care. Even though the internet doesn't want to believe this, there are reasons why Casey could have behaved the way she did and still not intentionally kill her daughter or have been part of a plot to kill the child.

  • @GrumpyKay

@@ThedarkbunnyrabbitSounds like someone who doesn't know the evidence. Want to explain why someone was on the family computer looking up fool proof ways to kill yourself or smother someone while ALSO signing into their MySpace and Facebook accounts which need a password to get into? No one innocent is looking that stuff up while alone in the house eith their daughter, (Both parents confirmed to be at work) then are seen later on in the day WITHOUT their daughter and their daughter is never seen alive again. And when she is finally found, smothering or suffocating looked to be the most plausible reason for death. She did it and ONLY she had the reason and the means to do it. She is a convicted liar. So that story about her dad doing it, is a lie. There is zero evidence of the father being the killer. There is circumstantial evidence that Casey did.

Her eyes get large and she starts to breathe heavily TO THIS day when she has to mention the incident. That and when my younger brother climbed up the kitchen counter and grabbed a knife.

Just watching this as her father’s lie detector text has just now come out, and thank god I’ve found a comment thread that isn’t delusional. I’ve told people that think he’s lying and she all of a sudden is the truth teller, to watch actually all the documentaries on this case, to watch all of it again or actually watch it for the first time in its entirety and not clips. Then in a different part, she said she didn't remember ANYTHING about the abuse until she was sitting in jail away from her family and was able to finally remember all the abuse she went through. There are a lot of people who take a tattoo when they are ready for a new chapter in their lives. So when she decided to tattoo these words while she knew her daughter was missing, it just sounds like she felt free again and ready for a new chapter in her life or something. This alone makes her seem guilty. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

The biggest red flags for me are when she’s talking about taking the picture and the drawing that Caylee did. When she says “I asked her to STOP” it comes off as her reliving the moment, but the emotions that register are anger/irritation/annoyance. Just the way she says it feels like she was reliving yelling at Caylee but trying to tone it down and reframe it as happiness for the camera, unsuccessfully of course. Then she says “She did this. THIS.” The emotions I get are irritation/disappointment/annoyance like “she did this shit. How stupid.” But she tries to play it off with a laugh and smile right after, that don’t come across as genuine. The emotions I’d expect in these moments are either happiness at reliving the positive memories or sadness at the weight of the loss and neither seem to be present.

This is good insight! At first when Spidey mentioned how confrontational her response was, it made me wonder if someone just straight up asked her how she is even able to sleep at night 😂 But I was just listening to the video at the time and didn't catch the interviewer's question. After seeing the clip and hearing again, it really seems like an odd question since it's not really asked in a small talk/conversational manner (even though it's kinda staged like it is?). With the knowledge that this answer is such a stark contrast to one she provided before, it seems like the question is super intentional. What I'm not sure about is whether it's intentional on the part of the interviewer (to highlight that discrepancy), or Casey (perception management since she "failed" at giving the "correct" answer previously).

My opinion- Casey was a spoiled child esp by her mom. Dad was probably the one who tried to set rules. Casey gets preg on accident, loves the attention. Mom does a lot at the beginning, but grows tired of Casey's immaturity and irresponsibility. Casey is forced to take hee daughter with her. She starts drugging her to party and be w/friends. One day she gave her too much and she didn't wake up. The tattoo was about finally having freedom from responsibility. Her tears are about life before Caylee's death, not necessarily about the death. She's lying about her father and brother. This interview is her attempt to get back into reg society by making us think she is just misunderstood.

I don’t think it was an accident at all. All those searches on the family computer for chloroform and fool proof suffocation… followed by visits to MySpace, while her parents were at work. Caylee died right after Casey got into a huge fight with her mom about custody and being a shitty mom. I think she’d been thinking about doing it, then that fight happened and she killed her daughter out of spite. I’m guessing the duck tape found on her head had something to do with it. Then she realized she was in deep shit, and didn’t know what the hell to do. So she drove around for days with her baby’s body rotting in the back of her car. She borrowed the neighbors shovel within that time frame, probably to bury the body. Realized digging a hole deep enough is not easy work, so she returned the shovel and dumped her in the spot she was eventually found. Didn’t say anything about her being missing for a month, until Cindy pressed the issue and called the cops. Then she came up with the zanny the nanny story on the spot. Y’all give this narcissistic bitch too much credit. The defenses narrative was absolute garbage, and she easily could have been charged with murder. If it was an accident, she would have told Jose Biaz, and he could have helped her get a lesser charge. She literally could have been sentenced to death. He would have been begging her to tell the truth, and if it was an accident, she’s better off telling her attorney. She’s selfish and all about self preservation. But the truth was so bad, she will never tell a soul. She’ll keep lying because it’s always worked for her.

10000% agreed, it's simple, she accidentally killed her daughter by to much chloroform to put her to sleep which happens more than people think but in this case she panicked and put her in her trunk of the car because she knew she would be charged for manslaughter or murder if she called the cops that moment, days go by and the smell got so bad she put caylee in the woods and ditched the car. maybe there's something there with the dad and Casey in the past but that's irrelevant because it has nothing to do with caylee's death or cover up because the dad would of at least tried CPR on caylee if he found her in the pool because how would he know if it's only been 1 minute or 30 minutes of her being in the pool. Casey lied so many times to avoid going to jail for the rest of her life because she got caught, most people would say "yup you got me there" but she'll just double down, triple down, etc... in my opinion GUILTY ASF.... JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE!!

If you remember, Casey’s mother says “it smells like there has been a dead body in the damn car”. That’s because Caylee’s body at some point was put in the trunk. 1) Caylee’s hair had fallen out in the trunk and it showed she had been being drugged for awhile and 2) her hair had fallen out post mortem. 3) there was decomp in the shape of a small child. 4) there was a measurable chemical presence in the truck but it was undetermined what it was exactly. I have known multiple narcissistic moms who enjoyed the more helpless/infant version of their kids that they could more easily control/speak for, but felt resentment for their children as they got older, had a voice to state their own opinions, had more distinct personalities, preferences, control they could try to exert in situations, etc.

(Which is one reason we're ex friends.) I was close with all her kids, but especially with her middle daughter, who was the apple of her mom's eye until the next baby was born. Then she treated that little girl like dirt, and that poor girl had to text me to come to their house and stop her mother from abusing her. Eventually I had to turn in my "friend" to child protective services. I felt I had no other choice, because there was no talking to her about how she treated her kids. She acted like she had no idea what she was doing wrong... The girl eventually moved in with her dad, which made me feel very relieved, for her own safety and sanity. I haven't watched the documentary yet, but the biggest thing I am noticing from the clips presented is the absolute and consistent focus on how everything has affected HER life not her daughter's life. A good mother who truly loved her daughter and was innocent would be far more angry and concerned with the fact that her daughter didn't have a chance to grow up and was instead murdered. If she were innocent she would be showing more concern for the fact that her daughter's murderer was never held accountable. The majority of her focus and energy is over how she was "falsely" accused and how it has affected her. Even or perhaps especially if she was completely innocent I would expect that most mothers would still have and express regret for not doing more to protect their child. Similar to Amber Heard, her narcissistic and victim playing nature is getting in the way of her looking innocent despite how hard she is trying to act innocent.

I'll never forget when I watched the whole trial live with my Mom back in the day, and my Mom clocked her right away. Anytime she shows any kind of sadness (at least during the trial) it was NEVER about Caylee, it was always about her. Like sadness she got caught and is in trial for it, things like that. You can see in this mock, that she gets angry/sad, but for example it was beacause people were holding HER accountable, and and she didn't like that. I'm almost curious to hear your take on the trial vs. her mockumentary. Like baseline reads, comparisons, etc. I almost feel any emotions she shows during the mock, is mostly again, just about her. Sadness she leads a life removed from society, etc... Not any drop of remorse for her daughter. it's so bizarre. Thanks for covering this!

Eh idk I saw plenty of genuine grief in the doc for her daughter. I'm not claiming it was authentic but it was convincing to me. Also, the trauma victim narrative the doc puts forth is compellingly capable of explaining so much of her behavior. Following Caylee's murder (she saw George holding Caylee), she completely compartmentalized her sadness and grief. So when we see joy, selfishness, compulsive lying, compulsive stealing, etc, it's because the real Casey which is mourning her loss is buried in this shell of a psychotic woman we're all watching. Again, I'm not 100% sure but it's a fascinating thought exploration to me.

I 100% believe Casey unthinkably murdered her own daughter and is lying and manipulating in this doc for for a paycheck. But I appreciate the nuance you provided by showing the cracks where humanity just might be peeking through. That she just might miss her daughter at times despite the fact she murdered her in cold blood. Both of those things can exist at the same time. That is much more fascinating and believable than the “she’s a literal monster with no feelings” narrative.

@Paula C You have to really research this case and youll find your answer. First her boyfriend Tony told her he wouldn't marry a woman with children. Most cases where the mom murders her children is bc the kids are an obstacle to a romantic relationship. Second, duct tape was found around Caylee's mouth. You dont tape "accidentally". Third and the biggest one was the internet searches of how to suffocate someone. This was planned!

She googled foolproof suffocation methods the same day Caylee “disappeared” and clicked on a pro-suicide website that gave directions on how to suffocate yourself with a garbage bag (Caylee was found in a garbage bag with duct tape over her face). She tries to blame the searches on George in the docuseries but she logged into her MySpace and Photobucket accounts right after. She claims everyone in her family had each others passwords but that’s obviously a lie bc there’s jail calls with her parents and brother where they ask her for her passwords to look for any communications about Caylee.

The beginning tells it all there was no childhood drama and she knows that 100 % of the time you accuse someone even if you come out saying you made it up and it was a lie, that accusation is forever attached to the person you accuse she needs to just tell the truth and get rid of the awful weight on her shoulders if you watch any high level trials where it's a woman being accused their lawyer always uses the grape excuse to try and get the woman off!. It wouldn’t have brought Caylee back. Her parents - already grieving the loss of a grandchild - would then have to face the loss of their daughter. And it’s not as though there was any risk of the defendant going out and harming any other child... which is, I’m sure, exactly what the jury had in mind as they weighed the evidence. This was such a powerful analysis for me. I agree with u on her. I have a mentally ill daughter that never had the appropriate feelings and behaviors towards others, even her own son. She tried at one point to “do the right thing” and let her son be adopted. Unfortunately, she began to regret in this decision and had the “need” to change her mind and take her son back because she supposedly loved him. I later found out she only feared her sons deadbeat father was going to have her put into jail for allowing her son to be adopted…it was never truly about loving and missing her son. She seemed to want to “get it together”, “be a good mother” and “start a new chapter” in their lives together. However, there began to be this shift tho and it was a shift of all about herself! Nothing mattered more than how she felt about anything! She began meeting strange guys on line, being secretive, lying. I later discovered she quit taking her meds and had been hiding them all over the place…even in places her toddler could have easily found and taken them! She met a strange guy she all of a sudden became obsessed with going to meet. Within one weekends visit with this guy she grabbed her son, moved in and totally cut me off accept for times when she wanted to try to get money from me. This is and was such a long and complicated story, but in the end, long story short…this guy she hooked up with almost beat my grandson to death and my daughter didn’t do one thing to try to protect or save my grandson…I was like Casey’s mom, I had to pursue trying to save my grandson when she let a few “truths” slip. My daughter didn’t care in the least about giving up her son to me! She was happily handing him to me because she had “her new life with this guy to think about”! It wasn’t until I pressed charges against her and this guy that “she began to care”. She began changing her stories. Each time we talked there was a different “truth”…a different scenario. Even tho at one point in time she had confessed to beating her own son out of anger once, she began denying this too! Now she professes all was a calculated lie on her part to “save her son”, “get me to take him away from the insane guy that was abusing them both” and all of a sudden she was completely innocent and a martyr that did whatever she had to do to “save her son”. I have full custody of my grandson now, he is safe at last. My daughter asks for photos all the time, wants to come back, has “so much to share”, “cares so much” and is soooo sorry now. It’s like Casey ,, the truth lies somewhere in the middle I believe. My daughter in her own warped ways does love her son, but nothing gets in the way for her when it comes to what she wants and her own happiness! She might miss this precious boy from time to time, but he never mattered to her when she had him right there with her! Sure my daughter has regrets and sadness, but the truth is the sadness and regrets r not really over her own son, they r regrets over how all the misfortunate events she herself has done and caused have effected her personally. Grief and regret can come from many directions and I believe Casey does feel some real emotions, but it is pretty clear that these emotions r only in how the impact of her own behaviors, decisions and actions have effected herself and r not about the loss of her daughter at all! My daughters attitude deep down over her son is that of collateral damage. It seems oddly clear to me that Casey seems to have this same viewpoint. She hates that her daughter is dead, but she was just collateral damage in the way of her happiness and what “Casey wanted.”Sorry my story is all over the place…I just wanted to point out that with mentally ill people they can have these emotions of regret, loss and sorrow. They have these emotions, but they r not true emotions as u and I would have, they r more about only in how these emotions effect themselves only and not their victims. Furthermore, at the end of the day, what do these supposed truths about suffering abuse at the hands of her father and brother have to even do with the death of her daughter?! She offers absolutely no insight into how this relates to her own daughter, but rather just a feeble attempt to make herself appear to be some type of victim that we can find mercy towards in some way. I just don’t feel sincerity in any of it.

What I found odd was her phrasing of “I was with her when she drew this”…Casey she was a TODDLER and you were her MOTHER - my default assumption is you were with her a large portion of the time. Even if you worked nonstop and actually had nannies, no mother would phrase it like this. This is how I’d talk about something my HUSBAND did, not my children - “oh I was with him when he did that!” Because since he’s an autonomous adult, there’s a good chance I wasn’t with him all the time. I've been with each one of them thousands of times while they drew or did anything else or nothing at all. It would be much more notable if I weren't with them during something. She acts like being with her child to draw a picture one time was some monumental moment between them, and it probably was, because she barely spent time with her... I wouldn't want to emphasize myself or my own involvent when showing off my children's art or other talents either. That's very strange to me. This woman is just human garbage...
