If A can see in darkness then why will he go to bring torch he will hold the hand of B and lead him there is no need to spend extra 2 min for torch hence according to you 12 must be correct answer

According to me only 12 min There is not mention it night time so if is day time no problem of light so at first A and B will of in 2min than C and D will go in 10 min total time 2+10 =12 min is the minimum time for it
