Your guys' technique is all wrong. You keep going all the way above your head and swinging downward at an angle, thus skimming the arrow and shaving at it. I think the main thing is that you keep trying to swing through, like with a longsword, when instead you should do a simple controlled downward chop (best to take a forward step when striking).

I've been Binging The Crew Channel for months. I started with the "VFX Reacts" and only kept wanting more. I love this channel so much, and I've only recently stopped to skip over to Corridor Digital to see the Videos I've watched the makings/behind the scenes of. It is very inspiring to see a group of friends create so many incredible things and having fun the whole time, even in the hard times. You all accomplish tight deadlines with incredible results. Corridor is what Hollywood forgot. The manufactured, churned out like Soylent Green is the norm from them. One of my favorite explanations from Niko was when he laid out how All new Star Wars Movies are so formula based. The Star Wars franchise is scared to tear away from the existing formula to try something new which is what made it popular in the first place. You guys are making the new "Star Wars" because you're not hindered by the predetermined expectations of the Hollywood formula, and that is why you WILL come out on top as a merit for others to meet. Thank you Corridor Digital/Crew for all your hard-work and extreme dedication to producing quality content. I'm no film maker, never have and aside from you all making me want to, never will be. But I so love and appreciate all of your dedication to the art, and your style is really among the few putting art into it, not just trying to meet a predetermined algorithm generated decision "What people like" demand for it. Keep up the great work everyone, and Thank you so much!

Yes it is possible. My good friend Dragon Dronet who works for Warner Brothers as a prop maker, and is a really good sword fighter/ marshal artist, and he is insanely good at cutting arrows in mid air. It’s cool to watch

'Tournament level sword person' kinda gives off the wrong image of him... He's not a god or anything like that, he still claims he's intermediate and still has a lot to learn. Also he doesn't do sword practice as much as he used to.

So now, combining this and the arrow catching. I feel a MIGHTY NEED to have a movie have a guy cut an arrow in half trying to save his friend, the arrow keeps going, and the friend snatches it out of the air and stabs someone with the arrow segment he caught.
