I have one under my tongue. The pain is so bad. I've been drinking smoothies because it is painful to chew. I called my doctor. She said I would need to see eye/ear/nose specialist. That can take months to get in. I'm trying to find a way to dig it out myself. I've been doing the massage, lemon to create saliva and heat on it.

I just noticed I have a little white stone in my saliva gland because it sometimes swells up when I eat food. It's tiny but nothing I try is dislodging it. Should I go to a doctor or is there a way I can remove it without cutting it? Edit: I was able to get tweezers and grab the tip of it and pull the whole thing out. It was actually in there pretty good even though it was super tiny (smaller then a grain or rice). I'm glad that's over with. I hope that was all of it. I guess well see if it swells up next time I eat some delicious food!

I had one in the very back of my throat on the side, not sure which gland it came from. I was able to reach it with a q-tip and put pressure on the low side and as I slid the q-tip up the stone came out. Years ago I had one under my tongue, lemon drops made my neck swell like I swallowed a softball. Gentle but firm massage pushing the swelling from the back toward the front (towards my chin), pushed the stone out.

@Buddyrtc Just to clarify, the stones in the back of the throat are the tonsil stones caused by milk products. But the stones that triggered my neck to swell happened while I was pregnant... and consuming tums daily. It was the ER doc who suggested the lemon drops, which caused the massive swelling that I could use to help put pressure on the little salivary stone to come out from a small opening under my tongue. It was literally like a grain of sand, but can cause quite a scary reaction.

I had a stone under my tongue that was killing me and it wouldn't come out so I went to an ear nose and throat doctor and he said to give it a week and see if it would come out sucking on sour candy. I had already put up with it for two weeks and I was fed up with it. I just got a scalpel and had my dad grab it with some forceps and make a small incision where it was and it popped right out. There was no bleeding and the pain instantly went away. I was so glad I saved money and didn't have to put up with that painful thing for another week. I still have a large stone in my submanibular gland and it's poking out under my tongue. Should I try breaking it off? What do I do? It's hurting really bad and its not where I could cut it out. I don't have insurance so I can't go to a doctor right now.

It's gonna be painful af if you have a stone so you're gonna want it gone. Plus it's a stone blocking your salivary duct so yes, it has to come out or you'll get an infection.

I was worried myself but listened carefully to the exact words that she said and so decided to do a bit of searching of what she recommends here in this video and although experiencing a little trepidation, did a little digging on “performing Glans massage” and knowing that I was already well hydrated went ahead with it and to my surprise, It went very well indeed!😊 I’m not sure I find it particularly conservative but I won’t be letting a little miscommunications stop me from enjoying whatever the health benefits of “performing Glans massage” are. Can’t say I remember any solid stone leaving me on completion but it was pretty mild and I’ve managed to find I’m incorporating “perform Glans massage” into my daily routine now without even trying! There doesn’t seem to be any stone there that I can find anymore nor have anymore stones seem to have formed again! So either way, “perform Glans massage”. Seems to just be generally going great for me. Even though it felt a little forced the first time I did “perform Glans massage”. Whilst watching this very video, I’ve found it to seem to become more instinctual to “perform Glans massage” when the mood strikes, whether that’s whilst watching an R&B music video or strangely even during love scenes whilst watching a good foreign film! I seem to have noticed a couple of times when it came to “performing Glans massage” that others in the same room with me acted uncomfortable and yes I guess I understand that certain medical procedures, no matter how non invasive they are, can make some people just plain uncomfortable so do remember to be respectful to others where and whenever you decide to “perform Glans massage”. Always be respectful. Funny though, that time during the love scene in that French language film, that kid acted so awkward and then eventually just walked out. Not sure but I think he was embarrassed about watching that love scene while parents or even just another adult was there as well! Hahahaha. I guess some things really never do change! That is unless you suffer from salivation gland stones and you decide to give “perform Glans massage yourself!” I must say it has changed my life for the better. Now I never miss a beat 😅
