Can You make Low Calorie Protein Waffles that still taste amazing? | Waffle recipe for weight loss

I compared Protein waffles with the tasty waffles macro and tastewise. I hope you enjoy both recipes even tho I believe that the protein waffle is the better option if you want to lose weight in my opinion. Remember that weight loss doesn't have to be boring. You can enjoy every food that you love if you make some smart decisions :)

I have a shitty waffle maker with only 700W. Everytime i made any recipe the whole mix went out of the machine (probably because the egg reacted intensively with baking powder. It didn't happened when i made them without the powder). Everything was dirty. Once i tried your recipe and it was delicious, but it was too dry and burned as you said it. Something in head told me to try to make waffles without egg and OMG!! They went the best i ever tried. Plus they are vegan if adding a protein powder of soy or peas. I recommend if someone also has a weak and old waffle maker. Only flour, protein powder, any milk, vegan drink or just water (i used almond drink), baking powder and something to sweet it up of choice (i had erithritol and added 30g). I love how i can add any amount i want to my waffles. Without egg i can add any flour, protein powder and liquid i want. Protein powder and skyr is a god.😂

Felu. It's time to redo this project. Cus I bought a waffle maker :) your pancakes are permanently in use in my kitchen. I think your protein pumpkin pancake is the best out there. You should make your own waffle recipe

Been playing around with similar recipes for a bit. I'm keeping it simple. Whole Wheat Flour - 2 cups (need my fiber). Powdered Milk 2 - cups. Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 1oz. Water - 16oz. Random other ingredients include, cocoa powder, baking powder, cinnamon, etc. Just toss it all in a blender and it works out fine. If you want more protein you can sub egg white for water. I chose the super basic route because I can stock up the dry stuff and oil and it will last for years. Hits all my macro numbers. Etc. Then I drizzle/flavor them with anything from sugar-free chocolate syrup, to mustard, horseradish, and relish.

Hello Felu, a recent subscriber here. Can I ask, which type of protein are you using ( i.e. whey, casein, plant-based), because according to the protein type, the waffle might come out dry or rubbery?

Hi, I always use Casein Protein Powder. The results of meals are better than with whey protein IMO

Hi Lelu, I tried this recipe twice and the dough seems soooo thick. Are you sure about the ingredients ratios? Also, I don't know about most people but for me this seems more like BF for two people (I will half the recipe from now on!) Thanks for the video! :-)

I never tried but I think it should be no Problem. Calories are for 4 waffles. 100g each. So 100 calories per waffle.
