Christmas week of 1981 my husband's company was moving us from Prattville, Alabama to Greenwood, Mississippi. He could not go with me as he was completing a project and was to come on Christmas Eve. My mother came to make the trip with me and help get the house set up. The moving van had just pulled out of our driveway and the phone rang. I almost didn't answer it as Mother and my little boy were already in the car but I did. It was the store from which I had ordered my husband's major Christmas present. It was two weeks late and I had given up on it. We stopped off at the store on the way and picked it up. This just happened to be one of the coldest Decembers ever. I don't know what the temperature was in Prattville but I know it was 5° when we reached Greenwood. Anyway, the point being we had only driven a few miles down the road when we started smelling this odor. At first we thought it was something we had run over. Then it got stronger and stronger to the point our eyes were watering and we were getting nauseous. Then it dawned on us that it was the leather bomber jacket I had bought my husband. It was so bad that I had to pull off to the side of the road and put it in the trunk. Unfortunately we couldn't roll down the windows to air out the car because it was so cold. We would go as long as we could stand it then crack my window for a minute. The jacket aired out in the garage till I gave it to him Christmas morning. He still wears it and still loves it. Mother passed away in 1992 and I shall always treasure that memory and the laughter David's stinky jacket brought to us. And to think, a split second in time could have cost me a wonderful memory of a time spent with my mother.

In 2010 my husband took his life. For the next 7 years I moved 7 times. Three of those times I hired an ABF moving truck. I packed but the guys loaded and unloaded the truck. Back then it was about $6,000 per move. I was in too much of an emotional state to purge. Alot of things just stayed in boxes that whole time. When I was packing to move from one house, I kept smelling something gross. I came home from work one evening and the whole house was infested with blow flies. Something had crawled under the house and died. I sprayed greasy fly spray everywhere. It was traumatic to say the least. After everything was moved out I hired a cleaning crew to come in and do the final cleaning. I just couldn't deal with any more. I look back and don't know how I survived those years but I did. I'm 65 and I imagine I'll have one or two more moves in my life. I don't look forward to it. Boxes, bubble wrap and box tape gives me PTSD. I'm sure other things happened during all of those moves but life was a blur and I don't remember a lot during those years. Patty, you're such a good story teller. I relate to everything you talked about. I'm glad you have Jim to help you and make sure you take care of yourself. (((hus)))

Please let me tell you how sorry I am for you. My husband was ill for a long time before he died last year. He was 80. It broke my heart. For you to suffer loosing your husband like that must have been unbearable. I send you lots and lots of love dear Virginia. I hope that life can only get better. I am in bed with chronic fatigue. After my sweetheart died I spent 16 hours a day watching thrillers on my iPad. Relooked at a couple recently and didn’t recognise a thing. It’s winter here . I ordered several indoor flowering plants so it looks like summer inside. ❤️🌹🌈🦋

Patti, you’ve made my day! 😃 Our house went on the market last Sunday, and oh my, did we work, I think it will take months for us to “ recover”! But first I want to share this with you ( I think I do things that other people don’t, who knows 😃) : so a little while ago, my husband and I had a nice barbecue. The next morning he asked me why are there so many spice bottles inside the microwave...and I knew it had to be me who, yesterday , after a glass of wine with our barbecue, put away the spices in the microwave instead of in the cupboard!. 😮 So I told my best friend about it, and she said Monica, I did worse- the other day her husband asked her to please bring him his evening meds., and as she was handing him the meds with juice, SHE swallowed it ! She said you should have seen the look on his face, and then she realized what she did and had to laugh about it ( nothing bad happened 🙂). So what shall I say 😄. Anyway, we have moved when we lived in South Africa, then in 2001 we moved from there to America ( California), and then from there to the East Coast. It is really hard work, but I promise you will get through it . What always have worked for me, is to 1) get enough boxes and paper and start with one room , and just focus on getting everything packed in that room ( you will drive yourself crazy if you do/ pack a little bit here, then there, then maybe another place)- tackle one room at a time. 2) Put stickers on every box with the name of the room and write down even if you can, in short what’s in there- you can even color code every room, eg kitchen is blue, so all the kitchen boxes have a blue dot. 3) When I tackled a room, I always have 2 or 3 little heaps : one is for all the things I want to throw away, second is everything that will be donated, and third, in our case, that will go to a small storage unit we have rented. And yes, it is so helpful to put in one or two boxes etc, those important things that you know you and your husband will absolutely need when you arrive at your new house( keep those with you, like in your car if possible). Anyway, I love your beautiful new house ( current one is lovely too). Stay strong, take good courage, be gentle and easy on yourself ( I’ve accidentally slammed the tip of my middle finger in the door and misjudged the amount of stairs left, so I fell down the staircase 😬- but don’t worry I’m fine). Good luck my friend. 🌻

Hi Patti. I can totally relate to the bruises and injuries you have. And yes, the reasons would make a funny video to anyone watching it, but it wasn't funny to me at the time. Here are two stories: Story #1. This happened many years ago. I bruise easily, and like you, I was banging into things as I was packing, and my arms and legs were covered in bruises. My parents had invited me to dinner at their house, and when I got there, my Dad got upset and wanted to know who beat me up. Story #2. Several years ago, my boyfriend at that time had recently moved into a new house and I was helping him assemble a gas grill he had purchased for his patio, and as he was unpacking the parts from the huge box it came in, he handed me a box that was as wide as it was tall, but slim in depth. He was holding it vertically with both hands and said to me "hold this". I took it from him the way he was holding it, vertically with both hands, and the big iron racks for the grill came right through the bottom end and landed on the toes of both of my feet. I was wearing sandals. Every toe in both of my feet is broken, right at the joint, so my toes don't bend anymore. Sending you lots of get well hugs! Good luck in your move and with the sale of your condo. You and Jim (and Biscuit) are at the beginning of a new amazing adventure, and I just know it will be wonderful! I am so glad to hear you are taking some "me" time during this process, and getting out of the house occasionally. That will restore your soul and reinvigorate you. Blessings! Shelly

My moving story is we moved a mile up the road. My husband bought a cheap pick up truck for three hundred dollars. He had so much fun racing around in his new toy he broke something serious in the engine. So we moved to our classy new retirement house in an old pickup with a blown engine one trip at a time over the next three months. It was like Tobacco Road. For some reason, none of our new neighbors want to know us.

Patti, it would be wise to label boxes for each room and have the movers stack them in the appropriate room rather than the garage. That way you and Jim don't have to lift and carry heavy boxes into the house and you could empty them at your leisure. Box essentials that you will need right away in each area and label them specifically for immediate opening on arrival and then do the rest later. Besides you might find that something you thought you didn't need might fit in perfectly in the new house. Declutter and throw out stuff in Pensacola. As a nurse I always battled with my mother about getting on ladders big or small when no one was around because if she fell no one would be around to help her. Be smart Patti!

I used to work for a large company and we’d start every meeting with a safety moment. Slips, trips and falls were a favourite safety moment because those were the most frequent accidents. Ladders are especially dangerous, and we’d always stress a three point contact while you are on a ladder - you have to make contact with three points of your body, i.e. two feet on the ladder and one holding onto the ladder or the wall, something solid that won’t give way.

I know that if I ever move again, it will ALL be done by the movers. Oh and by the way, invisible burgers have no calories.

Here’s a story for you. My brother was moving from Colorado to Minnesota. He was handicapped so always hired movers to pack everything. They were finished and had gone for the day when myself and my toddler son went to pick him up and take him to the airport. Alas, he had left his tickets on the desk and they had gotten packed along with the rest of the papers! I couldn’t tell you how many boxes we unpacked before we found them! It’s funny now but it wasn’t funny then! 😄. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and the move will soon be behind you.

I have heard that people are having contracts on houses even before you can look at them!! It's been crazy! I'm so tickled that you found a house that you like. That is just marvelous! When we redid our bathroom, we bought a clawfoot tub. It was heavy. The men couldn't carry it up the stairs. So they looked at each other and I heard murmers of "it's time to get Big Dave in". About 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door, and Patti, there stood the biggest man I had ever seen in my life. Tall, muscular, it was "big Dave". Well Big Dave took control and that clawfoot but was in place in the blink of an eye. I have fond memories of Big Dave. It isn't a moving story, but a renovation one, so close!!! lol Good Luck!!! Love, Melissa

Yes, that is what is happening to us. The day the house goes on the market for sale it’s gone within that day. I am so on the news where this couple wanted a certain house so bad that they not only paid over the price for the house but bought the owners I new house. Now that I don’t know. We are lucky to scrape up enough money to pay the down payment although we are just renting because my husband is a football coach and we probably this will probably be our last move. I can identify with all of this! It’s overwhelming. Here are a few memories after moving several times over 30 years: 1. Freshly painted house on the market with perspective buyers in route. 3 year old turned on upstairs faucet and water was spilling over and running down stairs. 2. Cut my leg on with something sharp sticking out of a box. I didn’t have time for stitches... scar to remind me. 3. Was pregnant and on bedrest hooked up to an IV for severe morning sickness. Agent unlocked door and I woke up to strangers in the bedroom touring the house!

I moved 3 yrs ago this month Patti. I was almost 75 yrs old at the time. No movers...it was all done by myself, my granddaughter, grandson in law, my Goddaughter, my son and my grandson. It took three days to actually move everything. Also had the cleaning to do too from where I was renting to doing some cleaning to where I was moving into. Over the 3 days I was so stressed and totally exhausted!! My granddaughter was the one that kept saying..."Granny you don't need this!" "Granny you don't need that!" I would sit down to take a few minutes to catch my old worn out, stressed out break and she would say... "Granny what are you doing?" "We got to get this done!" Talk about stress !! She even accused me of being a hoarder but she said, "not a bad hoarder!" I am amazed I lived through those 3 days 😩 😳🤪 Hang in there Patti...it will all be over soon and you will be in your new home 🏡 Love you sweet, beautiful and kind Patti❤🙂

Patti, I agree with Queens65 on having the boxes marked by room and put there by the movers. It will make your life much easier and safer unpacking. (Also with Gail. You can quicky close cuts with any Instant Glue and stop the bleeding in addition to not having to get stitches.) Slow down Patti since you don't have to sell to close on the house. Purge now so what you take you know you want. Whenever I rush these days, I always seem to hurt myself. This is your dream come true. You can do it!

Hi Patti! I moved 9 days ago and I'm a hot mess! Covered in bruises and have a gash in my arm from a box I was unpacking. Two days ago the connector to the toilet tank broke in my 1/2 bath. Lo and behold...a Geyser!!! Four rooms floating in water! And NO water until Friday after the plumber left! I know the extreme exhaustion you're feeling! My helpful hint: I bought big flap tie garbage bags at Dollar Tree, poked a hole in the BOTTOM of the bag, inserted into each bag about 10 clothing items still on hangers & tied the flap bottoms. No dropping clothes. Just remove bag when you get to your new place. Best of luck with your move and Happy Anniversary to you & Jim!!!

That's a great idea about using the garbage bags for clothing and wrapped individually, would be good for travel as well. Sorry to hear about your water catastrophe though. That had to be a very unwelcoming surprise.

Patti, I am soon to be 73 and live in a 2000 sq ft house. I started 2 yrs ago going through each closet getting rid of clothes that I haven’t worn in a year. I actually found clothes with the tags on them, obviously I was uncertain about the item when purchased. I purchased plastic boxes that have a seal on them. I packed away items I wanted to save, a bag of clothes to be donated, and a bag of throw away clothes with stains or small imperfections. No I am not moving, but because of my age I have made up my mind after having to clean out my moms house after her death, that I would start living a more streamlined life, uncluttered! That way my only son will not have to go through cleaning out many items that were just taking up space. Believe it or not this did become additive, I call it binge& purge, I have recently made more runs through drawers and my antique armoire! I had an amorous amount of Christmas decorations, but haven’t put up a large tree in years? Just saving them because I liked them? Crazy. I now think longer before any un necessary purchases.are made, without depriving myself of joy that some items may bring us personally! Be careful when moving, on my last move 19 years ago I left keys to new house and old house on the fender and lost both during the move of personal items in my SUV. Take your move slowly we are not spring chickens any more, as my mother use to say. You want to be able to enjoy your new home! Best of luck! God has truly blessed you , I recently signed up on line for a daily devotional from “God is calling,” they send a short verse from the Bible each morning through your email, I find these devotions really fit my day and are an uplifting way to start my day! I hope you consider doing the same! Again praying for your move going forward to go-smoother !!!!!

(Mrs Rusty)-Your stories are hilarious. Patti, next time you get a cut like that, put pressure on (hold up high) it until you get it stopped and apply your nail glue & gently hold the skin together until it is dry dry. My nephew is a busy aeronautical design engineer and he just got a horrible glass cut on his foot last week end. The ER glued it! Yep, they did. It re-bled and they re-glued it. Grab a tube of cortisone cream & Benadryl cream, mix a dab of each cream together and dab on the itches, it’s the bomb for bites and poison ivy, too! Quick fixes for those annoying boo boos! Breathe, just breathe, it will ALL get done. Personally, I would rather give birth to an elephant than move ONE more time. Going out of this home with a toe tag on. 😁

I don’t want another human being handling all of my possessions thank you. I like to be in control, absolutely love a good purge and passing things on to good will. Part of the moving pleasure is the clearing out and getting back in touch with what I own. Should of done it years ago. Now having a son grown married with grandchildren, it’ll be easier on him after im gone. Last thing on mover was bed & bedding. First thing unloaded was bed which I made so when tired I could go to bed after my move was done. As they saw do what makes us happy and I have. Enjoy your new venture 🙏💕

Attitude is everything! You are very wise in your ability to find the humor in the situation and make a blessing out of it. I recently changed jobs to a new county, sold a home, moved into a temporary home, bought a home and moved into what I hope will be the last place I will ever live. It is literally an exhausting process (I’m 62) I hope never to repeat. Congratulations on your beautiful new home. It will all be worth it when the last box is unpacked and you can relax. The funniest thing that ever happened to me was I was moving things into my office, and I closed the door to get at a bookcase behind it…well, the door locked and stuck! I was unable to get out, luckily I had my cell phone on the desk. I called my aunt to come save me, she couldn’t get it open either…after an hour of trying to release the door, unsuccessfully, I sent her next door to get the neighbor to get me out. He couldn’t get it open either, so I told him to kick it In. Finally after an hour I was freed. 😂

My husband and I lived in a 4 bedroom home in the country for 35 years, in the last 3 months I lived there, I purged so much but it was a drop in the bucket, my husband had a stroke, then in the hospital for 4 wks. Houses weren’t selling at that time, had to deed my home of 35 years to the mgtg. Co., by the time 6 mos. passed, My husband passed, my dog passed, I totaled my car, and I moved into a very small 2 bedroom apt. All this at age 72, now 10 years later I’m in a much larger apartment in a beautiful area and my married daughter lives right around the corner. I have had a new doggie now for almost 8 years. My buddy! I am a widow it will be 11 years in February but with Covid 19, came through no sickness, am now vax’d. And went out to eat in a restaurant for the 1st time in 2 years. Yesssss I live in lockdown Michigan. My son has lived in Clearwater Fla. for almost 40 years and loves it! Soooo enjoyed your finger, ankle, toe story. Yes your dear hubby needed to play golf but…. After you do packing together from the 1st. Box if you can. My advice, Cherish each other because you don’t know what tomorrow could bring. We were married for 52 years ups and downs like all have, but I got 1 of the BEST!!! Still missing him soooo much! But I have my little buddy doggie who is now the (man) of the house!❤️🐕🥰

On one of our moves it happened to fall on our anniversary and being exhausted we ended up having Wendy’s for dinner! We laughed and laughed and it’s one of our favorite memories! On our last move I knelt down (holding a box) onto one of those plastic floor protectors for an office chair, but someone put it wrong side up with all of those little nubs sticking up like a bed of nails!!! Ouch!!!! I did major damage to my right knee (two torn miniscus) which eventually had surgery to correct. Patti, you will be hunting through those boxes in the garage and you’ll realize how wonderful it is to have everything in its place so you can just go to what you need so I bet they won’t be there long! Thank you so much for sharing this! I laughed so hard at your burger story! I’m so happy for you and Jim and your new home! ❤️💗

The one story we have about moving, happened several years ago. We had a heavy upright piano and the movers had to put in the downstairs family room. They struggled with it, but finally the got it done. We were doing the finale paper work, when my daughter came home from school, and the first thing she did was go down and play the piano. The mover smiled and and said that made his day!

I just love hearing you talk. I enjoy your accent and how sincere and genuine you are. I especially enjoyed this video because I just moved myself last October from the KC area to the DFW area. It was a huge move, both physically and emotionally. Fortunately, I have two lifelong friends that came and helped me pack and then unpack. It is a huge job, especially if you’re moving very far. I was overwhelmed many times, but you just get through it. I’m so glad I made the move because now I’m only a few minutes away from one of my sons and only grandchild. While I’m not in a resort area, I did move to a 55 and older community. The new home you’re moving to is just BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m sure you will really enjoy it once you get there and get settled. I’m a few years younger than you (almost 69) and you are truly an inspiration. Please know that you are very much admired. I can’t wait to see Part 2 of your move. Hopefully, we may hear from you again before that. Hang in there, my dear. We are all rooting for you. 😊

I have just found you and am amazed at how beautiful and funny you are!! And oh how I can relate so much to many of your mishaps!! We have to laugh, it’s sure silly to cry, even that what we feel like doin a lot!! I always wonder about that “wisdom” we are suppose to acquire as we get older. What I learn one day I forget the next!! I’m glad you found a house. The house I worked most of my life for was Heavily damaged in a tornado on Dec 1,2016. ( who’s expecting a tornado anytime, let alone in Dec!!!) But in Tenn you never know!! My husband and I were separated, he had not payed our insurance, unbeknownst to me!! So, house not livable, can’t rebuild!! I have come to understand at this point in my life what is important and what is not. “Stuff”, the things we buy and think we need so much, is not needful things. A home is very important, and I’m glad you and your hubby found one. But I have discovered I can be comfortable with so much less than I thought, more so actually! Now, I buy what I need, and only what I need! (Do good to do that nowadays!!) I did not lose my life nor the life of those I love in that storm. My neighbors were not so Fortunate. My dogs, cats, horses, cows, etc,(I live on a farm) all survived. The animals on the farm next to us was killed. So, you see, I may have lost a lot of things, but nothing that is important. God is good, always. Look so forward to reading everything you post and laughing with you. God Bless😃😃

As it was a furnished flat we only had our own possessions to pack and a little Bird called Whiskey .He settled eventually and sat on his swing going with the motion of the Car. When we finally arrived about twelve hours later, it was a long drive and we sat the cage down on the table, he fell off the swing because his cage was suddenly still, it was a funny moment to see that but we were worried but he was fine after sitting still for five minutes or so and we had him for a few years after that , obviously his long journey didn't do him any harm, we still remember him after all this time.

Something funny happened many years ago when we were moving from our holiday house in Luxemburg back home to the Netherlands . I had put the clothing of my children in one plastic garbage bag. We also had real garbage in garbage bags. In total there were three bags. My partner at that time ( living in another town than me and my kids) had his own car and i drove my own car with my kids. All the plastic bags by mistake ended up in his car. He left before us. He stopped near the Belgian border at a huge parking place with lots of bins and did put all the bags in one of them.....not knowing there were clothes in a bag. Back home i asked him on the phone about the bag with the clothes. He told where that bag was: all the bags were in one of the at least 30 bins on the parking place. There were very nice clothes in this bag so i did not hesitate for 1 minute. Me and my children drove in 2 hours to the parking place the next day......and the bins were NOT emptied yet! And in fact to my own surprise after checking many bins with no result i did find the bag with the clothing! We were all screaming and laughing by joy because this very uncertain trip ended so succesfully. I heard a similar story about a man who travelled all the way from the Netherlands to the UK with some bags of garbage assuming they were filled with good stuff 😂.

The kids & I were going to stay with my parents and our belongings were going into storage until my husband found a few houses for me to make the trip and decide on a house. Our stuff was packed in Dec and we moved in February. When I started unpacking boxes the movers had wrapped our trashcans in the moving paper and packed them in the boxes with trash still in the trashcans. I thought that was the dumbest thing I had ever seen. I still laugh about that! LOL HUGS~Donna

I subscribed to your channel about 3 months ago. I'm watching your older videos and enjoying them so much. This video made me remember a funny, fast food goof my late husband made. He walked up to the counter at Arby's and ordered "The Classic Roast BEAST Sandwich"!! At first, he didn't know why the cashier was laughing and soon her co workers couldn't hold in their laughter either. I told him what he ordered and he was so embarrassed. He was teased by our family for years afterwards.

So glad you got a laugh in all of that and That laugh broke the spell. You probably don’t need it anymore but I’ve moved 19 times and found it’s best to walk through and pick out what you DO want rather than figuring out what you don’t want. And hire absolutely everything done that you can! Drop those rugs at the laundromat door for them to wash😂 . Save your precious health and energy. I wish you so well this week. Take good care!

Do get movers to pack and then you can mark the boxes for what rooms they would go in at the new house. Also have them place the boxes in the rooms. It will save you a ton of time and will be much easier than you moving and going through boxes in your garage which I'm sure in the Florida heat and humidity would be exhausting.

absolutely agree, do NOT put it all in the garage, we did this, disaster . Have the movers label the boxes and the room they are to go in. If you have a floor plan of your home. It will make unpacking a breeze and safe you all that lifting and moving stuff from a very hot and humid garage into your home.

DO NOT TRUST MOVERS TO PACK AND LABEL YOUR HOME AND PERSONAL ITEMS!!!! Things disappear and get stolen!! BIG MISTAKE...... Bottom line: Start packing and decluttering EARLY! Give yourself plenty of time when planning a move.....

We moved from VA to TX in December. In the midst of selling our home, buying a new home (sight unseen), purging and selling belongings, having packers and movers, my husband was hospitalized and required major surgery. All this and a pandemic too! All that seems like ages ago and we are loving exploring our new locale. Good luck, Patti💕 My best advice, although quite belated, is have the movers do the packing.

This is Paula Goins-Walters. You have been in a war zone this week! Please be careful, remember to take breaks, and be sure to laugh. Stay focused. One project at a time. Be kind to yourself! After you have labeled each box ask the movers to set the boxes in the hall outside of the room they go in or even set them in that room. You two do not need to be lifting heavy boxes. Unpack each of them at your leisure. No hurry. This is suppose to be an exciting time - A new adventure! Sending hugs and praying that you ae being kind to number one - You!

I was moving back to Kansas with my young daughters, my blended marriage was irreversibly broken. We were staying with my BFF until I could land on my feet. We had been living on a farm, and had decided it best to leave our farm cats behind. As just about the last of our things were unloaded from the horse trailer, here comes our cat Yoda (she really did resemble Yoda), nonchalantly traipsing down the ramp, as if to say “Where do you all think you’re going without me?!!!” She had traveled 300 miles with us. My friend fell in love with her, and ended up making a wonderful forever home for her, with land to roam and a stable with horses. We still laugh about it as we honor Yoda’s memory. She lived to be 19.

I gave birth to my second daughter the day before the move. Nice timing. I came home with the baby and my mom had the entire 2 story house unpacked and dinner on the table and my firstborn was a happy little girl being with grandma. And I couldn’t have been more happy myself. True story.

Oh Patti, that Burger King story was so funny. Not just while you were there, but all the way through with you eating the entire "giant" burger. You probably had no idea how hungry you were after doing all that work! Most of my moves have been short distance within the Tampa area, with one bedroom apartment worth of furniture. My last move was in February 1999 after I purchased my townhome, as a single woman. Eventually my husband and I will move, and after seeing Lisa, Tammy, and now you going through all the stress of trying to declutter and move a house full of things, I am starting now! I went to Lowe's on Friday and got boxes, and have a charity coming to pick them up on Tuesday. I plan to fill a dozen small moving boxes! And even though I don't have the kind of stress like you three have right now, I still have a plan to stay in one room until it's done. Stay well! Xoxo Debby

My tale is not during the move but rather after the move. I was hanging curtains and was standing on a chair, hammer in hand, my baby was in his walker at my feet. I dropped my hammer and yelled "OH SHIT". My baby who had not said Momma or Daddy yet started saying "OH SHIT". I love to tell him now that that was his first words, as you see he's 55 now and I'm 71 now. His father got into seismic work [the exploration for oil] and I got so good at moving. It was not unusual for him to come home at night and say "We're moving in the morning." that I finally left some boxes packed and covered them with a blanket at each new house. I even had some nick-nack boxes in each color for what ever we moved into so I could make it home. My kids tell people that they went to 18 different schools. But they also tell people that they never meet a stranger. And that's a lemon-aide from lemons tale .

Patti you are amazing to have achieved so much. Shame about the injuries 😜. We moved many years ago when we were young with the help of friends. We had a convoy of utes and a small trailer. On the back of the trailer the boys had put my bedroom dresser with the drawers facing outwards. As they drove up a steep part of the highway the drawers fell out. There was a trail up the hill of empty drawers and undies. The boys realised and stopped at the top of the hill and all went back and picked up everything. They thought it was hilarious. The idea of our friends collecting my bras and undies from the road was a little embarrassing. 😄
