I very much agree with you sir , I am a b.a psychology (hons) 22-25 student doing psychology because I want a change society about mental health. When I a topper from my Jr.college chose psychology people stated looking down on me and made me second guess my choice about psychology but watching your videos make me proud that I chose something unique .

@@durgeshnandani3078 when you do ba psy you learn the philosophical roots of Psychology and when you learn bsc psy you learn the neurological aspect of Psychology more like hormones and genetic factors of behavior........both in the long run don't have much difference between them but yu can chose what you would like to do

@@arshgod5713 well, i was preparing for bhu (varanasi- also my hometown) but unfortunately couldn't pass the exam. I have chosen a mediocre college for psychology (I can't leave varanasi, neverrrr). People before used to mock me for opting psychology and now they are mocking for choosing a mediocre college. So yea, the tables have turned now 😂 but it's still the same, somewhat. It's a journey, difficulties will change, but people mocking you for everything will remain the same. Have faith in yourself. Failure is a part of life, accept it and move on, is what I have learnt. 💗

I scored 650 in neet but i chose to be psychologist had so mush distressed thoughts about my choice tq so much for clearing it by saying those thought which i wanyed to listen someone else apart from my mind (insecurity for career and irrelevant choice in life)

I'm also a pcb student determined to pursue psychology now, neuropsychology to be precise, mostly because I know I'll love it and maybe even be good at it. However I don't think it's wrong if people want to know if they'll be able to at least sustain themselves in a career, especially if one is going to dedicate a lot of years toward it. Life does get hard sometimes.

This is what we exactly need ...it is true every one had their another opinion about this field... societies gives priority to only government jobs and the upper officers job typ...this is what i heard from since 2 years when I decided to opt humanities....I am not aware about psychology when I took humanities but after one year when I started to study apart from my 12th subjects i really get obsessed with it...this subject help me alot to recover so many issues which I faced...i decided to opt psychology as my graduation nd i want to made my Carrier ...my family are not sure about this Carrier they always rise a question is it safe ?? But I clearly mentioned them that i want to be made my Carrier in psychology...i am not hungry for money nd all...i want to help the poeples...there are soo many peoples who are not aware about their mental issues...i seen these things from very close nd i know how peoples are suffer when they are unfit from mentally.... I want to answer to societies that stop thinking about ur future nd Money nd all stuff...if uh did something good for someone the good things will happen with uh.... Right since watching your first few videos, I've felt oscillated towards your aura and thoughts because I feel much of my opinions and attitudes align with you on this matter. I too pursued humanities in class 11, despite all the teachers and fellow mates who were advising me to pursue science due to my percentage being on the higher side. Two years later, I've discovered where my heart lies, and it's in psychology. Humanities ke most of the bright students are going ahead with vhi IAS IFS classic govt job wali approach. My decision does shock some people but then i know where my passion lies. It's sad to see people being so unaware of their inner callings, that now job security and money is the core concern behind choosing a career. Financial stability is truly important, but blind pursuit of money is only a obstruction in the pursuit of one's passion. The way Macaulay's education has conditioned us into being a service class is disheartening. Thank you for your efforts! We need more mentors like you!
