oh as someone whose abroad, they charge a hefty sum for per sessions which honestly lets them earn abt 6L per month ahahhah its not all that depressing irl but ya this video is quiet informational in that sense and plus the salaries sort of represent India specially considering how taboo-fied it is to reach out for help and earn anything

Yes, they can practice as a psychologist. M.Phil in Clinical Psychology is mandatory if you want to practice as "Clinical Psychologist"

Hi....so I have a question. If I get my clinical psychologist degree in india will I be able to work outside like Italy, Paris, hongkong anywhere. If so could you please tell more about it and can I also teach students in uni. At same time or anything else is required to do so

Yes but you will need certification to practice as a clinical psychologist. Every country has different certification practices for clinical psychology. You will have to look into what certification the country you are interested in requires. To teach at university level in India you will need to pass the NET (National Eligibility Test). That's the bare minimum.

For the amount of money and effort you put into the education you don’t get fairly paid in India. You have to move to countries that pay mental health professionals better.. besides our universities don’t offer the MPhil courses. The ones you’ve mentioned have no global recognition. We don’t have any means to achieve licence that could be internationally recognised. In short just study psychology if you are interested in it or have the means to study specialisation on a foreign campus.

@@ansabaka2218 their are no job opportunities i do my bachelor's in psychology and now change my field in Masters because in india people are not aware about mental health...i also know some psychologist who had 8-10 year experience but still don't have clients..unko clients ko phone kar kar ke bulana pdhta tha therapy k liye even ek client ne to unka number bhe block kar diya its quite depressing aage as you wish !!

So after studying so much, one gets peanuts. Sad

Yes , I think you can do it because to become a counselling psychologist, we have to have a diploma in particular. This will be based on your interest. Abhi to bohot time ha.. , bachelor's me hi clear hojyga ki what do we have to take... But after doing clinical in masters, your should have to apply for mpsy, as mphil is no more... There is a lot of scope in psychology... I know salary is not good as compared to others, but the way you improve yourself and knowledge of human behaviour can be helpful in any field... All the best ❤

No it is not necessary. But there are many colleges will let you apply for M.A. or M.Sc. in psychology only if you have done your graduation in psychology. So keep that in mind while applying.
