But anyway, I sujested he built a bridge as his boat, so we spent making and upgreading this bridge, and compared it to some of his past boats and his friends best boats and the bridge was by far the best. A draw bridge is two seperate paths unconnected that span a gap, thus you can infer all bridges you created with joint supports are draw bridges, the only way for you to not make it a bridge is for each platform to be supported indipendent from the other structures, any joining would create a flawed but whole bridge.

Aside from the first 2 ramps the rest are bridges as they are structures carrying road and are still touching both ends. Still entertaining and love the video 🤩

But Matt, real bridges have gaps in them too. Pretty sure I learnt that on this channel in fact! Does this mean real bridges are also NOT bridges? :O

I love the idea of a society of people engineering pathways that almost get you somewhere but end just before or make you jump between paths, instead of connecting

I havent played since the start of the game (then they fixed falling roads somewhat so the game wasnt as fun for me) but back then it would have been a piece of cake!

I would argue that any piece of building material that connects to different land masses would constitute a bridge, even if there isn't road connecting the 2 masses. For example, at 5:09 that is a bridge because the steel touches both sides.

is a boat long enough to be driven on from the bow to stern and grounded on a sandbar a bridge? because it technically can be tied to a dock and then it might be a bridge
