As someone with a high end PC, I love these ultra budget builds. I wish there was more focus on them as it shows that the cost of entry does not need to be high.

I'm so happy I went second hand. Manged to get my dream rtx 3090ti i912900k build for £1,100. Think I save around 1.25k. But then spent it to upgrade my setup lol

For £550 you can comfortably get a Ryzen 5500 and Arc A580 system, with a 650W PSU, mesh case, and 1TB SSD. Could probably get it under £500 if you're hot on deals. I'd say that's the play! Maybe I should do that?..., 🤔

yer its not a great build i got a 7500f , 32gb 6200hz ram and motherboard and 6600xt for around £550 yes thats not including the psu and hardrive but most people can use their old computer bits like i have and have much better gaming computer

You can probably even squeeze an RTX 3060 Ti or 4060 Ti in there, depending on what the other parts are.

I have been watching your videos for about two years now. I have already, "liked' and ''subscribed' and I appreciate your, 'budget' builds, because that definition changes each year as things go up in price each year. I "imagined" and have created many builds in my head, up and down in budget large to small. When the chips are down...I don't have much money to play with...and I come down to earth. Then I arrive at, "what can I really afford?" I am still saving to build my own PC...but saving for even a 'budget' build' is still....taking a while. So it's nice to turn to you and keep in touch with what can be accomplished with what money I have...which is closer to 'nothing.' It keeps my 'budget' build, current.

It would be interesting to see how much of an impact higher performance RAM makes with those APUs. Like a comparison with 4800, 6000 and 6400 RAM.

It's suggested to at least run 6000 mts cl 36 on those Apus and 6400 cl 32 or better is preferred.

With the last 2 gens of AMD, use Directx 12. Works very well.

doesn't m2 need heatsink for gaming? my lexar m2 died in about 12 months and i really don't know the reason. i thought it was the lack of heatsink. and i only had halo infinite, OW2 and my windows 11 on it.

At the moment, I'm trying to find a good build so I can play STALKER Anomaly/Gamma/EFP. I can't even play it on this computer we bought in 2014/2015, but it works for SoC/CS/CoP and runs it well until it crashes at some point because the GPU doesn't have enough VRAM or the engine the game it is playing on crashes. I do live in New Zealand and I am finding it hard to acquire good parts that are reasonably priced, but that is not really going to be realistic at this point, considering prices are going up and some GPUs are hard to acquire. I'll get there. If anyone can help with some suggestions of parts and how much I could be looking at something between five hundred to eight hundred. Thank you!

Definitely a good option for someone who's going to upgrade in the near future but otherwise a ryzen 5 4500 and rx 6600 build would cost the same and massively outperform this for gaming. Not a fan of the psu choice, that thing is F tier, there are C tier power supplies for the same price.

Pls do an 800 dollar pc budget pls for making a gaming pc. I want to see if you can get a medium high settings pc

I would think so as it is just an update that can be done on fully built and running systems, if you have a bios usb port and a usb it will be a lot easier. You may just have to go back into the bios and check your settings incase its reset the memory etc

I'm someone who doesn't care all that much about the graphics side of things 60fps would be nice but I want a pc solely for modding purposes. Would this be a good option for me anyone? I need help so bad I have no clue about pc gaming!

id personally get a 7600 and suffer with the weaker igpu until i can afford a 4060 just cuz the extra cache is important for me for clip studio paint, and then prolly upgrade again on zen 6

8700g for 290€, am5 motherboard for 120-130, 2 ram for 100 and a graphics card I alrdy got/use my old one. And sure I don't have an m.2 in it, but I'll just get one later and just use one of my current SSDs.

The bare minnum spend for pc should be 800. At htis point just buy a ps5 or series s. they sell used for atleast 300. Or just save up. I saved 400 more to get my dream build. i9 10900k and rtx 3090 with 64 fgigs of ddr4 ram.

@@Ladioz depends on the location especially retailing from abroad these hardwares do tend to inflate pricing beyond your pre conceived budget of course I would rather ship them overseas but the hustle in getting it to my doorstep tends to add up the overall cost hence the general skepticism.

That case looks familiar (looks at pc next to me)

I would have gone for a cheaper PSU and the cheapest case for a 6000mhz cl30 ram kit and possibly a B650. I'd rather upgrade the case and PSU at a later stage. Likely at the time of getting a 12GB or 16GB dedicated GPU.

My partner needs a PC now. But..... At end of month I am inheriting a 3070 will I just be able to plug that into this set up when the time comes

I have this case and hate it so much that I enlarged the front intake holes out of frustration with a drill. Don't judge me, it was cheap and I didn't have much cash in my pocket :(

Never a good idea to recommend the latest generation on a $500 build. You could’ve gotten a solid gpu in there AND all new parts if you went AM4. Could’ve had 6c/12t, 16gb ddr4, and at least a 4-6gb gpu.

Imagine paying $500+ and not getting a GPU... amatuer 😂 Edit: I built one for my sister a year ago for $600ish after tax (she wanted the rgb if not for that it wouldnt even have been that much) and that included a RX 6600 and the only part that was used was the CPU. APUs are for $200-300 builds anything above $500 should have a graphics card

Just buy a steam deck for pc gaming at this price

Actually they aren't at all.. IF he would've used faster ram, and enabled PBO he would've got wayyy more FPS. He was barely getting 50 fps in Fortnite, and my 8600G get 80-90fps in warzone? How is that possible? I paid $480 plus tax with 6000mhz 32gb DDR5...

Interesting CPU, that build is a NOGO and a Hard Pass for me, I think that CPU should be more for non gaming netbooks and non gaming laptops and oem desktops where u can use it for light gaming. But for a custom build like the one u did it has no place, just the stuttering alone tells me this is cringe and that u can't even Gift this pc to a friend or family member and I wouldnt dare sell this to anyone even at cost, its just going to make u look bad and hurt ur reputation. Stick with a regular cpu and pickup a used video card of some sort if ur broke. Its too bad u dont have a shelf full of all the popular used cards out there so that u can quickly plug them in and give us comparisons but I guess ur viewers could just do a search for them. But yeah just look for something like a 750ti or better to get u going cause it makes no sense u got this nice size matx case and power supply where just about any old one fan or two fan old video card can easily be plugged in.
