Other ideas could ikit weapon teams only with the goal of blowing up the donut using under cities.

13:55 I think you misunderstood the 'safety' equipment part. When you hover over, it says: "By limiting the movements of our labourers, we should be able to stop this sort of thing from happening in the future" Basically you're shackling them to their workstations and possibly along rails, so that they can't throw themselves into the machinery.

22:31 I believe the settlement intercepting you and fighting on the wall is supposed to be a fix for the old exploit you could use to bypass the wall by sieging it with one army and then going through it with another, as sieging a settlement removes it's zone of control. It unfortunately will simply do it to any army that enters the zone when it is besieged.

I think your content exploded because it's a really good way to experience Total War Warhammer. I feel like a lot of 4X games just suck to actually play, even when I feel like I know everything I need, there's still something missing. Like I'll just end up in a battle and lose and have no idea why, I'll use a strategy that worked every other time but fell apart, or I'll be copying someone else's strategy and still be in a losing situation despite knowing that my comp, position, abilities, etc are good. But then you do these "meme" builds and it feels like watching how the game is built to be played. The difficult fights are tough but fair, the macro layer is a tricky balance that works out in the end, and you're getting long campaign victories. It's everything I want these games to be but never actually work out when I'm the one playing it. Been subscribed since I think Skinks and definitely sticking around, thanks for all the great content

I think the faster attack animations is a good thing as it mitigates that awkward interaction of a unit taking forever to swing and the guy he was swinging at already died to arrows or was pushed back so the attack miss

Love the casual halo 3 music being used, buddy has got some excellent taste

Chorf Simps, these Hobogoblins are.

I'm really annoyed they didn't make hobgoblins as good as they are in parts of the lore. They're basically what goblins could be if they weren't beaten down by orcs, so almost on par with orcs in some cases.

Honestly, I would love to see a Hobgoblin DLC. I think it could be super interesting in terms of the faction mechanics.

The intercept mechanic for bastions and fortresses is so that you can't properly "siege" it down with more than one army. So when you send the second, it triggers the siege without you being "prepared". You have to leave your armies outside of the settlement zone, but close enough to reinforce. Or let the army that gets intercepted be your main force. But yeah, it's dumb haha

That's not the reason for the intercept. Before the intercept you could siege with a single lord and pass through the zone of control with your real army.

What Tuboshi says, and your belief that you can't siege with multiple lords in reinforcement range is also false. Position on the edge of the reinforcement range, like for any army you would attack.

I love your content so far. Will answer why the wall seemed to move up on your second army. at around 23:00 It is because people would make a single lord siege the wall then have the real army's just walk over the wall, making it more or less useless of a defense. SO i think CA made it so that whenever a second army approaches it just starts the siege to keep people from cheatingly sneaking pass them.

Honestly you have grown so quickly on this site so glad as well you definitely deserve it great content was so excited to see the chaos dwarf challenges and I am not disappointed by this first episode can’t wait for the next

I love your channel, especially the new mix of replay/live footage to show both the strategic aspects of battles as well as how pretty the game can be zoomed in! You've got me pressing K a lot more in my own gameplay 😂I've been following since gobbos only campaign, and as a college student also graduating this May, you've made my senior year a little easier! Definitely feel free to take some time after graduation to spend time with people or relax or whatever, we'll be here waiting on the best TW content creator to come back :) On a side note, my favorite campaigns are the ranged-focused ones, especially gunpowder-only. Maybe something like Skaven weapons teams only up next, or some kind of (less busted) ranged-focus campaign? Chorfs with only chorf units could also be really good to follow, especially since unit caps are so low early game that it would present a pretty big challenge. Whichever direction you go, keep up the great videos, I love them!

This campaign is really fun, and i also really like the improvements your made to your editing style. It really fits the format!

Your challenge runs are not only entertaining, but also give a very close look at the way campaign gameplay functions in a way that makes it look very approachable. Like how a player may feel like bad unit choice could ruin their prospects, but it actually turns out that if you use some strategy you could even win the day with an army of goblins. Had an idea for a lizard man campaign which would be fun if difficult to start. Beat the game using only feral monsters.

The chorf unit roster seems really fun and varied

"I'm going to cycle charge them with my archers." A few battles later: "Why did they send their archers into melee?"

This video makes me think we'll get a DLC Hobgoblin Kharnate as an addition to the Chorfs.

You could try to do a Chaos Dwarf/Limited Units only campaign. No chaff, no fodder units, constantly expending armaments just for a full stack.
