So I’m guessing the intro was an april fools joke since you know 06’ and also there is a DS port of this idk the year it released but its called sega classic collection and has sonic 1, 2, 3, &knuckles It also has knuckles in sonic 2 and knuckles in sonic 3

Labyrinth Zone Act 3 is the tricky one. The attempt where I ended up over Eggman is the one I wanted to be the best run. It would have been funny to show.

Did you know you can SUBSTANTIALLY improve performance of this version by… Turning the music? Yeah, so the GBA has no audio chip, so sound is handled all by the CPU. Not a normal thing for systems of this era. So when the music is off, the CPU has more horsepower to run the game properly.

I considered doing that for the challenge, but the slowdown was incredibly helpful, so it was to my advantage to keep the audio playing.

Yeah, but it's never consistent. It will change speed at points, so the player isn't guaranteed to be as prepared.

The GBA version has significant performance issues, terrible music, and suffers constantly from screen crunch. It's a terrible version of the game and it affects a without defeating a badnik playthrough. Though the terrible physics did have some benefits, as seen in the video.
