My brother is allergic to all meats, his nose begins to drip uncontrollably and also a lot of sneezing. The weird thing is that when he goes back home to South America (we live in the US) he has no symptoms if he consumes meat. Is it because the meat was not expose to alpha gab, or is his allergy related to something else?

It would have to be something else since alpha gal is a carbohydrate mammals make irregardless of locale.
