Its not about usage - its all about potential!!! Brain ke har hisse ka use krne ka ye matlab nhi ki hum 100% use kr rhe hain!!! Example - aap 1 balti se 10 litre pani nikal skte ho par nikal 1 litre he rhe ho - poore bucket ka use phir bhi ho rha hai par potential bahut kam use ho rha hai!!!! Look , about the damage thing , it's just brain is made of neurons interwinded into each other and when something hits or brain is damaged, the connections get compromised and the function and activities which we usually perform at any time using the intermingling nerve impulses and information collected from all the response centres is compromised, hence the brain demage . But whn in movie it shows like , if we can use are all the brain connection and neurons and the exact same time .... And somehow learn from the environment... As we already know when we learn some skill or language we create new neuro pathways and that gets that memory or skill gets stored in our subconscious memory. In the same case ,in the movie it's shown that the lucy , starts at some capacity of her brain and then gradually learns from everything and at last comes to her 100 percent brain capacity.

Using 100% of brain throughout wholeday and using 100% usage of brain everytime both are different
