Best sub build I’ve seen wow love it
This build is really sick. I did a Tahoe and I have taken it to the most crazy off grid campsites. I can say that the extra space you get in a suburban must go a long way.
Great work, that swivel seat is some kind of trick! SUBOVERLAND does some great mods for overlanding too, but your interior work is more refined and finished. Thanks for posting. Inspiring!

Ye, far better finish than Suboverland, but I think they are batting at a different price point. This build looks expensive, but I’m sure we’ll worth it.

AWESOME! Very creative, well thought out and LOTS of great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
I just started my Suburban build about 3 weeks ago. Dont know how I have not seen this one yet. Very nice.
This is awesome. Giving me great ideas for my Tahoe. I wanted to leave one seat in the back row so I’d have three seats total but this just clarifies that there isn’t enough space. Gonna have to gut it all.
I converted my 97 K2500 (with the 454 😉) into a camper, and it was quite comfortable. I lived in it for a year and a half
Truly impressive. We need the swivel seat to hit the market!
Fantastic conversion, the space allows to sit inside comfortably, not crowching. WoW! And the wall storage system also very very good idea. It blocks sunlight, blocks other people's unpleasant inspection, and if you stuff into with clothes, works as insulation too! It's really really smart idea! Amazing!!!
Amazing! I’m converting my Excursion. Smashing ideas! Great Job!
Best build I’ve seen for sure!
I lived and built out my 1997 suburban but thisnisnthe cleanest build ive seen so far. Bad ass
wow, best suburban build EVER!!!
Astounding work gents💪🏾👀👊🏾 I have an 05 same model, great ideas!
Wow!!! This is beautiful I've seen alot of them and I always go, I would have did this instead of this but this one damn!! Yall hit it right on the head great job
By far the best looking build I've seen inspired bro
Super clean build! A lot of fine details too.
Excellent work. I just saw your video and was blown away. My wife went through head and throat cancer. The surgery jacked up the muscles in her neck . She can hold her head up for long periods of time . Back in July I took all the back seats out and built a flat surface in the back and got 2 tri fold memory foam pads just so I could take her up to Panama City to pick up our granddaughter. She loved it so much , she don't get out of the house much other than Dr's appointments. Well now it has turned into a full build. I was thinking about running planks on the ceiling like you have done. I didn't notice in your build if you were able to keep the ac vents.
Great build for such small space. Awesome!!!
Wow, you just turned a suburban into a VW bus! I am get ing ideas for my 1995 Suburban, thanks for the inspiration!
Amazing Work
Beautiful conversion! Chapeau very useful video 📸
Wow this extremely well done beautiful work
Outstanding Build!
Love the suv builds, I myself have a diesel excursion but when I was 16 I was looking at either an excursion or 3/4 ton Burban or Yukon XL. I think both platforms are great but I love the diesel
This is amazing in every aspect!
Beautiful craftsmanship. I am very curious about the swivel seat and mount in this build. That is functionally awesome and adds a ton of extra usable space in a Suburban. Could you share the info about the seat and mount combination..... where did the products come from - can they be purchased? Anything you could share with the community would be awesome. Thanks.

I don't see any answer to the seat question, which is a shame as I've been looking to do this to my '05 since I got it a few years ago. It would make rainy days and work much more tolerable.
Fantastic build!
Beautiful build!!
This is the best suburban conversion I have seen yet.
Love the Tiny House build! so good, just connected and hit all the buttons ;)
swivel seat FTW!
Super nice.. great job guys !!
Beautiful build .
A tip for anyone planning on doing this. The propane line that goes out side the burb can be ran outside the body through the wheel well. I’ve seen two like this and one a gentleman put in another fuel door that had the hose coiled in. All three made a mount to go over their tire that held the stove. Just an idea. Clean and easy without smoking out your cabin.
Sweet build man!!!❤👍
That's very cool, congrats on a nice build. That exterior color, was an extra cost at the time. Not too many folks payed the extra money at the time. When clean, polished, and in full sun, that color was amazing.

I really want to sell my 4Runner and get one of these Suburbans, and the green is definitely my favorite color. When I walk my dog, there's one that we see every day, and I always think to myself man this thing looks terrific.

@@bobjackson7516 yeah, I'll keep you posted. I have to sell my 4Runner first, so I have to look into the best way to do that. Nice thing about the 4Runner is that the values are so high I could buy three Suburbans after I sell it, LOL.
Very nice job. I think I'm interested in having similar job performed on my Suburban.
Super clean.
REALLY NICE! I need to know what swivel seat that is. I’m building my suburban out and NEED THAT in my life
Innovative is certainly an understatement 👍👍👍
Wow, awesome job
Absolutely Beautiful 🤩!
That’s just beyond badass
Awesome build. I would really like to know what model swivel seat you used.
It is a dram. I had a 4x4 Chevy Express with a roof that expanded a whole tent as a second floor, all done hydraulically at a push of a button (Colorado Camper Van). I love any camping vehicle but this one is fantastic. I now have a 2014 Tahoe with 30k miles. I might get inspired!
I would love to have the swivel seat in my middle row man that is cool
Love that swivel seat. Can you tell us about the after market seat and where we can get it? I'd like to put that in my 2008 Suburban.
Very nice build, the best use of space of seen in a ‘Burb conversion. I have a pair of ‘04 Quadrasteers, and this type of conversion is in the back of my mind for one of them. I really like the planked headliner, but I’m curious why you would use 3/4” thick planks, both from a headroom perspective, and due to the substantial weight penalty. It seems like 1/4” would be plenty, and look just as nice. Final question: Did you insulate the truck behind with window glass and under the planked headliner?
Awesome. Love it.
Do this to my 89 Suburban. It has much more room. Lol. I’ve actually been working at a cabinet company for 12 years going on 13. I just wish I knew how you were doing all the electronics. I know people have used Goal Zero for a lot of builds but I like how yours is integrated in like a camper.
What type of heat or is it just for fair weather?does the mattress fold up to make a couch or access storage?
A hightop suburban you could stand in would be awesome
Wow, easily the best Suburban conversion I've seen. Very nice attention to detail. What price range would this be in?

You gotta love the stupid internet. 😂 Propane and battery completely separated into two cabinets but this moron here is recommending they move them. 😂
Are there any tie down or anchor points under 2nd or 3rd seats? Looking to add drawers/sleep platform too.
Super. Thank you
Love it!
i wish we could have seen the truly finished product is there somewhere we can see it in use or after he has put the bed in and is using it?
Can you build out a 2011 to 2013 Suburban from the lower window ledges down? These years have side curtain air bags. Also, do these builds exceed the vehicle’s GVWR?
Nice build.....Do you know how much weight it added?
This is a very nice build. I especially like what you did with the water tanks, sink, and electrical stuff. Also the propane tank in the rear, wth two outlet hoses, is a very good idea. I will definitely incorporate most of your ideas in my next build which, I hope, will be a very clean Ford Excursion. Currently, I have a 2000 Ford Expedition with 193K on it. Still runs good but needs a timing job and a few other mid level repairs. I have about a 10 inch platform to house two long Walmart totes for tools and cooking gear. Your very shallow platform is intriguing and I will put a lot of thought into it. The Excursion I have my eyes on would be a reliable rig to travel the East Coast, Rockies, the Great Lakes and back to NE. I've watched many UToob vids on SUV builds, which are mostly Cross-Overs and not SUVs, and this one is the most innovative, but still simple, one so far. I am very impressed with the results.......

Nice! Get a everventure custom, custom plate to use for a cover plate as some good advertising. We all look at the license plate area for some reason. 😁

That’s impressive.
I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with the barn doors in back. Could they be converted to a hatch back?
Excellent!
I haven’t seen a front passenger swivel seat since the 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass!!
Trying to do this with mine
Question, what brand of front seat did you use to replace the original Tahoe seat. And what kind of swivel bracket did you use also. I want to to the same swap. You did a very beautiful job, I'm very interested in this conversation. Thank you very much.

how much would you charge to do all the wood work and placement. because i dont know how to start... or would you be down to help me how to set it up
Did you guys build this ? And if so how much would i be looking at for this build?
Love this build! I'm doing a 98 right now and I'm curious if you've considered removing the center console to allow access to the rear, without exiting the vehicle. I'm worried I'll miss the storage space.... thoughts?

Thanks man! That build came out nice. You’re right about the weight on one side. Although it doesn’t really affect the truck at all. The vehicle is a 1500 and has a really sturdy suspension. That being said to balance it better I might stick the batteries on the passenger side.
How much would you charge for this exact build?

I like it, jus not sure about that popsicle headliner. Other than that very nice!
How do you open those side cabinets with the mattress in there?

Some of the cabinet doors by the mattress only open for access to the AC unit electrical plugs and the propane tank. So if you really need to get into those areas you can just take the mattress out. All the useful storage is above the mattress.
It's nice but did they mention the price tag
You may have addressed this in the video, but considering he'll be using it for camping, did you guys spray foam the interior or do any added insulation for lower temps? I heard you say he likes to camp in it for up to two weeks. Curious about how it maintains reasonable temps for colder month camping. Thanks!

We didn't spray foam it but we did insulate it with Havelock Wool which has a great R value. We also added some foam paneling in some areas where wool didn't make sense. He does carry a Mr Buddy heater with him in the winter time and he says it works great.
