Can this 23 year old Drz400 keep up! And will my Nissan Hardbody start?
It's Finally time for some Motorcycle and Mini Truck content! On this Episode I drag out the old Suzuki DRZ400 and head to some North Idaho single track with Cameron and Matt. Cameron is on his Husqvarna TE300E and Matt on his KTM 500 exc. Both of these guys are good riders, let's see if I can keep up without hurting myself. The second half of the video is back in The Dirthead Shed to see if I can get my Slammed Nissan Hardbody ( D21) minitruck back up and running after 2 years of neglect. Will it run? You will see.

They got some really worthless shows on motor trend and they cancel dirt very day😡 its as dumb as canceling roadkill!
As David Feiburger says, "don't get it right, just get it running"
Depression is a bitch man. Nothing makes a guy happier than seeing another person overcome a shitty situation and achieving something great, like your KZread channel. Hopefully soon you’ll be able to quit your job and do this full time (if that’s what you want to do). I’ve always been into off-roading but my family not so much. So I make up for it by riding single track on my old tractor (2003 KTM 525exc), and watching you and other content creators git down. I’ve been a long time fan and I appreciate you brother. Can’t wait to see you at 100k subs.

Nice to see a car/truck guy who enjoys dirt bikes
Motorcycles, Mountain Bikes, and Mini Trucks!! Dave I think I would watch a whole episode of you working on and doing things with your razer scooter. Do what you love any we'll support you. We all got a little depressed when that cancelled DED too. I know you and Fred do slightly different things, but that's what made the show great, what you both brought to the table. We enjoy all your builds from mini trucks to monster trucks and everything in between.

Really appreciate your honesty Dave. Depression is real and usually gets ignored in the mainstream videos. I get seasonal depression when it's cold for longer periods of time during the winter and have no motivation to work on my projects. Fortunately it's spring time and now I'm gaining more motivation. Your videos are helping me get excited about the junk i own and trying to make it cool. As for the microphone issues, they are not a big deal since you can always do the voice overs. Keep building cool stuff. Also enjoyed the dirt bike time. Took me back to when I was a kid a got to go riding a ton. Thanks again for the video.

I think we were all depressed when DED ended. Still miss you and Fred together, but watching your channel grow is amazing too and all your projects are ace! Small skinny bike, they were neat because most of the dual purpose bikes were wide between the legs. Those felt more like a proper dirtbike.
Loved the dirt bike run thru the mountains. Not a mini truck guy, but wrenching is wrenching, can’t wait to see it rolling. Anything with wheels baby!!!❤

You gave me the final push to start getting offroad bikes again when you rode the big wheel KLX a while back. I've started with 3 wheelers. I've got a 185S right now for the kiddo and I, and I'm trying to find a 250R next. Then, it's back to dirt bikes. I used to ride and race them back in my teens. I'm thinking a big wheel KLX like you rode and a 250 or 400 4 stroke Dual Sport should suit my needs well. I'm not into quads, I actually hate riding them, so it's all ATCs and DBs for me. lol It's great to see the hardbody again!

Hi Dave! I loved watching Dirt Every Day and was super sad when it ended as well, I'm glad you are still making content though! I've had a 2013 DRZ400sm for 7 or 8 years so it was fun to watch you out riding yours on the trails. I think it would be super cool to see the mini truck driving, I have a couple Subaru Sambar Kei trucks and was thinking about bagging one of them, it would be no where near as low as yours even if you didn't body drop it but bags are fun, lol.

I was . Finally getting a little flow. Great day
I had a DR 500 1982 model that sounded like that. Kickstart only, carburetor was really bad, it had been worked on by too many hillbillies. Almost impossible to start without the factory starting recipe, compression release etc. it really helped when I put a flat slide carb on it from a bike like yours. It felt out of control with what seemed like a lot of power and drum/drum brakes and oh yeah, the weight. My son said he could feel the exhaust pulses from 15 to 30 feet behind hitting him in the face. He also said that when when I took it down the beach in our local riding area full throttle in 3rd or 4th it would shoot a maybe 40 yard long constant rooster tail and people would stop and rubber neck the show with their jaws dropped. Good to see the mini truck back in the mix too.
