Can They Finish? Missouri Farm's Mile-Long Internet Line

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Today was a VERY BIG day on our new Missour farm! In today's episode we'll continue on with DAY 3 of the trenching and installation project of the mile long fiber optic high speed internet drop line installation, I'll do some more bush hogging with my KIOTI RX7320 and the Rhino HD bush hog and I will get all of my future micro food plots and new future soybean food plots sprayed with herbicide to prepare them for the next steps of the food plot planting process, I will take a road trip into the tax assessor's office to find out if we are going to get screwed on property taxes on our new Missouri farm and much more!
This is a massive life undertaking and we'd love to have you join us for all of the adventures as this time we will be documenting and sharing the entire journey! Thank you! Here is some background from the last few episodes in case you are new to our channel:
ON THE LAST EPISODE:
It was a last minute, hasty road trip, but we had some big success! Join me for today's 575 Acre Missouri farm road trip and updates as I take another load of our stuff and equipment from Southern Illinois over to our new 575 acre Southern Missouri farm. THIS MORNING:
This home has TWO complete Geothermal heat pump units and one of them is not working! The home is large enough that it needed TWO of the Geothermal heat pump units to effective heat and cool the home. So I was able to get 3 appointments scheduled for the next morning; The Alarm company, the Geothermal AC repair tech and the power company/high speed fiber optic contractor to see about getting high speed fiber optic internet line brought in to the home! Our Missouri home has a driveway that is over a mile long and they plan on trenching/burying the high speed fiber optic line next week!
TODAY'S VIDEO: I started on multiple bush hogging missions with my KIOTI RX7320 and the RHINO 6' HD bush hog! I'll start to clean up the side yard behind the lean to barn and I'll head down a long deep woods road in reverse to get the trail open up with my Kioti RX7320. This is an overgrown jungle, in some areas it is well over 10 feet high! Join me in the tractor cab as we make some success happen today! Also I will start clearing the pond edges and the pond dam, but that was just a little sketchy! lol.
Thanks for joining me today, if you are new to the channel here is some background on our channel and our new Missouri home and land:
Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland

My neighbor last weekend cleared all the trees off his dam and it looks much better. He told me and my wife we could fish there anytime we wanted to. He has bass, bluegill and crappies

If you ever found a upright stand up tank. Alot of off road fuel guys will deliver fuel to ya. Something to think about for the future. I know you might not burn alot of diesel but it would save some money and handy for the off road equip.

Too bad they couldn't run the cable line on the power poles to your house. That's what they are doing here in western Kentucky

  • @KapperOutdoors2.0

Well that's what they are doing here, but our power here is all underground so there are no power poles to work from. But we'd much prefer it this way! No power lines overhead!

Kinda looking forward to the Missouri property being unique and different and not simply an Illinois 2.0. So be giving it lots of thought and get creative and inspired while you're at it. You can do it!!!!

Oh it will be very different. But I need lots of big equipment and some loggers. The way the ridge tops lay is beautiful but they need about a dozen new small clearings spread out around the place for new plots. I should get cost share from MO unless things have changed the last few years. Also cost share for watering ponds too:). One step at a time!

Why don't you rent a bigger trailer or even a big truck and move everything at once.

  • @KapperOutdoors2.0

    @KapperOutdoors2.0

No way we can move everything at once!! We have soo much to move. And we don't want to cause excess stress on ourselves so we decided to take our time and just move one load at at time for our part. But we have a moving company going to pack and move the whole house for us, so that will be very helpful! Thanks
