And then you just really can miss someone's presence in your life because true connections are far and inbetween. These things help, but if someone rare leaves your life, it's going to be a hit no matter what you have going on. I lost someone bc it was just bad timing, and yes I have the ability and understanding there is something similar or better out here, but....but, that could take a long time if ever and that is what hurts the most.

Exactly what just happened to me. 2 years together. Lived together for 1.5 years. Moved out 3 weeks ago. I completely lost myself and didn’t recognize myself in the mirror. Being separated and not talking I’ve began to find myself again. Do I miss her? Yeah but only the positives I wrote down all the negatives and just think of that now. And there were many more negatives than positives. Also, she is a covert narcissist confirmed by my therapist. Broke up with me 5 times through fights she instigated. I finally walked. Lol so it’s similar to withdrawing from a drug. Stay strong Gents 💪🏼

What just happened to me. Divorced her because she started making fun of my disibility.. 6 month later wanted to work things out with me . Told me how she wanted to work it with me because she still loved me and our boy was going to be out in bad situation- one month after that she said she went on bumble found a guy who is debt of a morgage and left lol. Never trust them

I did what you suggest here, as ,yes ,, I had to cut away from the past and rebuild. I did however run into a slight problem. I payed the mortgage off , got into seriously good shape , I was entering age group races etc . Reeducation,, I read and read and read ,, problem,, I couldn’t find a woman to keep up with me,,mentally or physically, I ended up with 20, plus ,, that I put in the friend zone . I have remarried, ( 14 years ago ) . But for years I took out or saw for the weekend, women who accompanied me ,while I completed my pass time activities,, typically they did that ONE ,, problem was I did hundreds, my interests were limitless theirs were limited

What if there really wasn't any negatives with them 😔
