Thanks for actually comparing discs in the same plastic! Feels like so often a KZread channel will get that wrong and compare similar models but then mix up the plastics and not have a good baseline. As for why no one is buying these out? Simply that Mint currently has the brand following/recognition and not many even “casual online” disc golfers seem to be familiar with Jester or Remix, along with what their models compare to. Videos like yours go a long way in changing that. Absolutely love my Peace Trains!

When you start to throw golf shots in the woods the flight differences stand out a bit more. The lobster has a crazy amount of glide. Not having to put it on as much height as the 4 glide and a touch more stability than the other allows for tighter longer lines. One of the most versitile disc on the markets as well because of its lower speed stability. Ive tried to beat mine out of my bag with several other disc. It always ends up back in the bag!

Clash Discs Peach is another great Meteor-like mid but actually feels better to me than the Meteor.

Been looking for something to flip up and hold turns like my Latitude 64 fuse, but with a shallower depth and a little more rim to grip so it feels more like the other mids I bag. Looks like this mold might be just what I'm looking for and now I have several options to find one. Thanks!

I feel you on the Fuse. The MD1 for me after it's beat in is very similar, super straight and floaty and will hold turn great, super comfortable as well

I have a bunch of Lobsters for my wife and son, so I thought I would pick up some creatures. I put them side by side and they are definitely the same disc, plastic and even weight sticker.

I have both Creature and Lobster. I agree they are the same.

You're going to get much better at putting. I think overall you'll be able to get your percentage up to say 83%

I bought a batch of Creatures (12 for $99) to use for field work and they fly very similar to my Uplink... a great disc for a great price.

Didn't the Mana come out before the Lobster? I was under the impression the Lobster may have been one of the initial Mana prototypes. See videos by Part Time Disc Golf channel on this very topic, where he discusses this (more than once I think), one of the videos he plays a front nine and back nine with the Mana and the Lobster.

The results of which the Lobster was slightly more understable, making it even better for beginners. I've been playing for 2 years and still struggle with distance, and chose the Mana, because I like my discs to be usable for a longer time. I also have the Pathfinder which I love to death, it's reputed to have lots of glide, but the Mana goes way farther. What I like about the Mana, for me, is that I finally have a disc that's like my Leopard is for people that throw farther than me, and I'm not losing distance with it compared to my gstar Leopard.

You could just follow me around. I left a Lobster on the course. Went back 2 hours later and it was gone. Decided to finally put my name on my discs after that. All good as I got another one.

Oh no! RIP Lobster!

I have several Manas, Lobsters and Creatures now. During most of the season I throw my red Lobster, but in the fall I switched to my Glow Mana. Flies the same though.

i'm a HUGE fan of remix discs my whole glow bag is their discs but they're made by mvp and all mint/ TSA molds creature is a sick disc but they don't have it in glow. bagged my first ace with the haymaker on monday The best part of the remix stuff is they're 12/13 bux so you can get a glow disc for 50% off the normal pricing or less.. and since they're mvp plastic they glow beautiful

Personally, I've got a KC Roc that I use for that understable mid slot. Also got an Origin on the way that I ordered alongside an Eagle Envy that I suspect might fit the slot based on what I've heard.

i like the lobster but i only realy like the feel of apex/neutron plastic. Lobsters seem to have the right amount of understability so they arent as flippy as a paradox or rollo, and glide forever in tailwind. I think in this category you would look at the various wombat3s. halos are like big watts, champ flight is similar to a lobster and star is more flippy. havent thrown a dx but I would think its the rollo paradox vibe.

Claws up Lobster gang!🦞 I've visited 4 retailers in the Seattle/Puget Sound region and only one had lobsters. That and the Pekapeka have become my favorite woods discs.

I'm local to lancaster and have all the remix molds that have been released so far. If you guys are wanting to use some for future videos just let me know.

i knew it. mana, lobster, and creature. i tried to tell my brother before he bought the mana. didnt know the jester was a clone. came for the lobster, stayed for the outro. i handed my lobster to a friend, he bought one the next day. the disc feels great in the hand.

Just from watching the SSD videos for the past year, there are a lot of “clone” discs out there! I almost bought a Peace Train, but didn’t; if I had known it was a Lobster clone, I would have! Thanks for another great video, Greg!! 🥏 Hey, I just discovered the disc golf emoji…🥏

Maybe it’s just me, maybe it’s the run, maybe it’s psychology…but my Peace Trains flip over a bit more than my Lobsters, yet they feel very much the same. Sort of like the Jester Love compared with the Thought Space Praxis. The Love goes straighter for me yet people say they are the same disc. Maybe it’s just that little extra love in every Love putter throw.

Seems like the uplink may also be a good comparison to the lobster.

Not sure if they are. My friend that has thrown both finds them to be different but maybe it’s just the difference in gyro or no gyro.

Wow I can have this exact same putting set up without having to purchase anything. I use that exact net for my tech disc and have the MVP black hole in the center of my backyard.

@@SixSidedDiscs I hadn't thought of that idea before this video but that is the main thing that keeps me from putting for more than like 5-10 minutes at a time. Just walking around retrieving the discs that rolled off gets very time consuming.

Don't forget the TSA Mana. That is also the same mold.

The mana and the lobster are close but not the same. The Lobster is a little lower compared to the Mana. Generally most people would put them in similar slots.

Wow. Just wow. I am still not sure I get it. The main manufacturer offers small disc companies certain molds, but the molds offered are not necessarily customized specifically for each small company? Even slapping different flight numbers on them? Seriously?

My understanding is that the Mint Lobster will no longer be made / is discontinued. Theory is to not overlap/compete against oneself, and more importantly in the manufacturing lines. Tying up manufacturing by pouring the same molds / “tops & bottoms”. Basically to make the manufacturing lines more efficient and not bogged down by redundancies. What’s yall think? I’m scooping up Lobsters as collectibles. Bagging the Jester peace train.

Most, if not all of their molds are shared across Thoughtspace and Jester and Remix and there's another one in North Carolina now. I can't imagine they'd discontinue their best selling disc because of their manufacturing partner's production lines.

Not happening, they actually made a recent run of lobsters.

Yes they are the same discs, but Jester might have the most cringe branding in all of disc golf.
