Samin norsat is my guru, I did culinary arts graduation and when I was going thro cookbooks I never found what takes how much time to cook. I was so frustrated and decided to become an instructor after gaining experience, and samin's book made it so much better. Every culinary school in the whole wide world should have this book "SALT FAT ACID HEAT"

Microwave Mac! Super creative techniques, especially blooming the garlic and "simmering" the cream with the microwave.

Did she actually call the kettle a water boiler 😂😂😂

No stove? No problem. Make pesto. No heat needed.

PLEASE CLARIFY how you boiled the pasta in the microwave without having all the water boil out into the microwave. Every KZread video I've seen re microwaving pasta basically puts a bowl of pasta with water in a microwave, and heats it on HIGH for 10 minutes. Every time I've attempted the same feat, all the water in the bowl found its way onto the microwave turntable platter.

Exactly. These are the same people using bacon, cream and peas in carbonara. They throw tradition right out the window.

This video's really badly edited. It never shows her adding the garlic to the butter, never mentions what cream she's using, you just have to look at the container really quickly before the frame changes, the cheese she cuts up just disappears at some point so its not clear that you shouldnt be putting the cream into the same bowl where the cheese is. Overall very lazy
