Moral of the story: If you're going to neglect your child(ren) to the point they envy orphans, do them a favor and don't have them in the first place.

@@eleanorhogan8643 no wonder Willard became such a jerk with issues with his abusive ex wife and his folks, heck the other Mr. Kraft, makes Willard seem positively kind.

@@bcrunch4232 true. Still, all the kids at the high school had nothing to do with any of this, so it's no excuse for him to be treating them this way. He's also pretty bad to Hilda and Zelda and they didn't have anything to do with that either. He should only take his demons out on his ex-wife and on his parents. Not on anyone else.

They never told him that Hilda was the owner of the clock shop, not Zelda. When I saw this as a child, I thought it was funny (Mr. Kraft envying the orphans, getting a sled in Miami). Not anymore. There is nothing funny about neglectful parents. There's certainly nothing funny about a witch turning off someone's hearing. Still, Mr. Kraft shouldn't take out all of his problems on innocent students who had nothing to do with his childhood.

Honestly surprise that they didn't point out how selfish Sabrina was being. She wasn't doing any of this for Willard's benefit--she just wanted her trip.

If you’d take seriously what all the witches do to mortals against their will casually in every episode, then you’d end up seeing all of main characters as rather awful people. Hell even Salem is a person that tried to conquer the world and even throughout his punishment as a cat, had still tried to take over the world in at least one episode. The main cast and the witches in the series have never exactly been portrayed as selfless people. Even the Spellmans can be rather malicious against their own family. Like Aunt Irma or the one that tried cursing the aunts and Sabrina into a horrible fate of eternal sleep over Sabrina waking her up. Irma on the other hand is a control freak matriarch of the family who is essentially law to them. Then there was that cousin of Sabrina who literally imprisoned witch adults in her toy box along with Sabrina. That and also every Spellman having a literal evil twin. Yeah honestly, witches and the Spellmans have never exactly been portrayed as the moral high grounds of the series. In a lot of ways they are hypocritical especially in terms of punishing Sabrina for her choices and spell use compared to others. Mr.Kraft oddly can’t get away from witches. Even his first wife was one and an abusive one.

Well we do find out that selfish is the Spellman worst trait so sometimes family members to tend to fall victim to it especially Sabrina. I do believe Sabrina does have a good heart
